Kaeya, last name Alberich. A strange man, is he not?

His stunning, long, midnight blue coloured hair, dangling down to his hips and wrapping perfectly around his tanned body. Especially his face, usually wearing a smug grin formed by his chapped lips.

His one eye, like a beautiful but poisonous, deep blue ocean. Its beauty tempting you to dive into it, but only once you do, you start realising how poisonous it really is. The expected beauty, happiness and fun, is nowhere to be found inside of that eye. The longer you stay trying, the more filled with poison you'll become. That beautiful, blue ocean, quickly turns into a pit with nothing other than endless darkness, slowly filling you up with pure emptiness. Trying to find any sort of information from that eye is simply not possible. Any attempt of gazing through it is an automatic failure, without a doubt. Well, if you even get to dive into it, that is; as there is a strong unwavering shield, preventing you from doing so. It bounces you off whenever you try taking even the slightest look into who he really is.

What about his other eye, you ask? It is covered by an eyepatch, for reasons not entirely known. Maybe it is as he insists, just a meaningless accessory; nothing more, nothing less. But maybe - just maybe - it is a hidden opening. An opening which is being guarded by that dark eyepatch, as Kaeya is terrified. You see - this eye is not as strong as the other one. It doesn't have that unwavering shield of protection, poisonous ocean or dark pit of emptiness. It is anything but empty. Instead, it's completely see-through; as if just looking at it will lead you to every corner of his tainted soul, revealing his whole life story. That is why he is so terrified. He is terrified of being vulnerable, feeling seen, and his deepest secrets which he has spent his whole life covering up, being exposed out in the open. Removing that eye patch is like cutting him open and letting everything he has ever been made of ooze out of him, as if he's a big dam that's starting to fall apart.
