Forced Marriage(Jjk)

CHAPTER 13

Jennie's pov:

        They had me dressed in a beautiful white gown, if only their motive was as beautiful as the dress they made me to wear.

         As I stood in front of the group of people who I despise with all my soul, I could only think how pathetic I am. There is not even a single thing on my power to stop this forced bond they have set me in.

        Tears were rolling down my eyes without control, I never in my life had felt this much defeated.

        The bulky guys who were behind me, pushed me forward towards the altar where the man holding the chains to bound my freedom was standing. He was handsome, dressed in a tight black suit with a black under shirt. It was as though, I was walking towards the devil himself to sell my own soul to him.

        He was dressed in the right color for the occasion, full black. Not for the wedding,  but for my funeral.

        The moment I stood in front of him, I could her the people around us snicker.

         I, for the first time in three years met his eyes. It was the only thing that never changed, he still saw me with the hateful look. As the priest was talking, my eyes wandered to Irene, who was standing a few feet away from us, if looks could kill, I would be buried 7 feet under the ground already. After that I didn't look around me, for that moment, the shoes, the devil was wearing looked so appealing to me, though my vision was blurry because of the tears.

       Those minutes flew in a second, I was brought back from my world of wallow, as the priest asked,"do you Jeon Jungkook, take Kim Jennie,as your lawful wife and promise to share with her your sadness and joy, your ups and downs all through your life?"

        There was a perfect silence, while my heart was yearning for him to say just a two letter word, eventhough it was against all the odds.

        "Yes" He said, with a stern voice and with a blank face.

        "do you Kim Jennie, take Jeon Jungkook,as your lawful husband and promise to share with her your sadness and joy, your ups and downs all through your life", it was my turn to speak.

        "N..n..n-",

        "It's too late, you Brat, there is no choice for you, you got to answer only yes."said the devil's mother.

        "It's the least you can do after, the trick you pulled on my husband,  that nearly cost his life and my precious daughter's happiness." Said Irene's mother.

        Though I feel hopeless, they can't just blame me for the thing that I didn't do, "me, I didn't do anything to your husband, it's just karma hit him like a truck for the disgusting thing he tried to do. "

        "Enough, say the wedding vow and exchange the ring."

        I didn't even know where the fight came  from within me,"I won't, you can't make me to-".

        A sound of slap resonated in the room, and my cheek hurt like hell. It took me a few seconds to actually realize that he had hit me, the person who should protect me.

        "Freaking, get over with it, you have no way out. Or else if you want it the other way I am glad to do." He said.

         I know what the second option is, they are going to bet the heck out of me, till I oblige. What can I do? Literally nothing. I can feel Jungkook grip my arms tightly,  I am sure it's gonna bruise later.

        "I....I...d..do."

        "I now declare you as husband and wife. You may exchange the ring." Said the priest.
He was not even flared a single bit about it, as though he had seen these things many times.

         Jungkook pulled my hand harshly and pit the ring, and I put the ring in his finger deafeatedly.

         That's it my whole life is over, I am not sure how I am going to get through this hell.

         Not even a minute after I put the ring in his finger, Irene pulled him and kissed him in his lips so passionately as if she was the one who exchanged rings with him. While I was standing beside them watching them kiss like a fool I am.

          After that no words were exchanged, just some hateful remarks from the people who are said to be my family and some curses. I was pushed into a audi, while Jungkook was driving and Irene was in front seat beside him.

           Tiredness took over me, so I feel asleep. I was awaken by Jungkook, who dragged me out of the car and pushed me to the ground, while Irene was smirking at my plight.

         "Get yourself together, that's the house we will be staying." He said.

         "Come on kookie, we're gonna be late for our date baby." Said Irene with an awful sweet tone.

          "Yes baby, let's get going, I don't want this waste of space ruining our date. Do we?"

          They are going to a date.... what a nice start for my days in hell. I stood up and went to unlock the door of the big mansion. Even God was not on my side today, it seems. The door was locked and I was not given a key, neither do I have a phone nor do I know where I am.

         I slid to the ground in front of the door. It is really cold, I am shivering. God, why do these things happen to me?

         Just for the property, should I just give them that? No, but I promised her. It was her last gift to me.

        What happened to jaehyun,does he even care? Stop it Jennie, you shouldn't think like that, maybe I don't deserve him? Don't.

         Should be strong Jennie or you can't survive, you survived till now, you can do it. Come on Jennie,  get yourself together. Don't be a weakling, or these people will trample you.

          Just wait, I will show you guys, that I am still not the naive girl you were playing with. But for tonight, I will let myself to cry over all my misfortunes. I hope you are looking after me from heaven mom. How much I am suffering without. I couldn't even say my last good bye to jaehyun, before I was shipped off to marry someone I hate with all my heart.

         What did I even do to deserve this?

         As I repeated the same question in my mind, I drifted of to darkness. Even with such a cold temperature, my eyes closed itself because of the tiredness.
