The Promise

"He even bought me roses and chocolates!! It was so romantic, like, you don't even know." Tessa said. "WHAT EVER! I don't believe you. You're so full of it and you don't even have proof." Cassy said rolling her eyes. This conversational dispute had been going on for a while now and Cassy was not buying it. Tessa stood up angry and shouted," WELL THEN I'LL GET YOU PROOF JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE!!" quickly she ran out of the room and trough the school halls to the bathroom and into a bathroom stall. She locked the door behind herself and sat down. Oh my gosh!!! I'm sooooo stupid! why did I say that I don't have a boyfriend let alone any guy friends how am I going to pull this off? I guess I will just have to make do and find one." she thought to herself. The bell rang and quickly she got up and headed out to her next class. As she sat down she began to scan the room for boys. Hmmmmm... someone handsome,cute ,and sexy all at once and the only guy I can think of that is like that is... Jack the quarterback for the football team. Everyone's dream boy and most popular but hes way out of my league and already has a girlfriend. Then I should at least look for someone a bit like that, but later. The bell rung school was over and Tessa began to head home. I don't think I should bother trying to ask anyone at the school since I pretty much already asked everyone and still was rejected also it would be to risky because then Cassy might catch on. Tessa arrived to house and went inside, exuasted from the walk she kicked off her shoes put her bag on the floor and flopped on the couch next to her laptop ." maybe I should just try a blind date anything will work for me." She opened up her laptop and began to search up people who might be willing to comply with her odd request. After doing some searching that ended in a failure she looked to the clock which read 12:58 am "Shoot I need to go to bed." she closed her laptop and and went to sleep.

Tessa walked through the halls of school with her head hanging low in shame. Slowly as she aproached Cassy she lifted her head to see her with her boyfriend and behind her was her other friends with all their boyfriends as well. "Look at you poor thing." Cassy said as she slightly chuckled "everyone has a boyfriend but you. You might just be fated to be forever alone." Everyone began to laugh. Their voices growing loud but in the midst she began to hear somone saying,"honey,hey honey wake up." Slowly cassy woke up blinking her eyes to hear her father calling out to her,"Honey wake up. I need you to come downstairs real quick please."
"Alright!" Tessa replied and began to sit up,"What a horrid dream." she muttered under  breath.
Slowly she got out of bed and headed downstairs.
