Chapter l

Right when I was born I was blinded, blinded from the real world. But what even is the world anymore? I wish I could tell, i hope to have the answers in the palm of my hand one day. I think I will.

I had three siblings, I was the unfortunate one, i also happened to be the third one. They we're not a big part of my life at all, none of them I barely knew them. But my little brother was, I loved him so much I had never loved someone as much as I loved him.

I hated leaving. Seeing tears running down his face. Him calling out my name, "Adina!!" "Adina!!"
"Adina!"

"ADINA!!!"

"GET UP"

My eyes slowly flutter open to a unfamiliar blurry figure,  I blink a couple times to un-blur  my vision. Oh it's Cora  no one important minor character, quite a bitch.

"Goodmorning sweetie how did you sleep need any water?!"

"Actu-"

"Yea I don't give a fuck, get up it's time for breakfast"

With that she walks out the room.

I start walking towards the cafeteria in my personal dark red copper plain shirt and pants. yea we all have our own colored pants and shirts, it's so the government can remember which lab dog is which.
I sit down in one of the benches, and no I don't eat breakfast. Gives me a stomachache.

I put my head down and feel myself slowly drifting to dream land, as I'm almost there I see him look at me,Ezra.

DREAM LAND

"ADINA! COME DOWN HERE AND GET THE PLATES READY!!"

"OKAY"

I huff laying faced The roof of a pretty pink room.
i bite at the hair between my teeth and slightly chew on it, and now I'm disgusted by what I just did. Ew.

I get up to get the stupid frickin plates ready, as I'm walking downstairs I slightly tumble,

"get out the way adina...always in the way"

My sister evie gives me a side eye as she walks down the stairs. Last part was muffled, oh whatever don't care.

I grab the plates and start setting up for the five people I hate, including myself. As I grab the forks a little hand wraps around my 12 year old wrist. I turn slightly, of course As I expected it Lucas. "LUCAS" he responds back "ADINA" I grab my little brother and throw him in the air as much as I can with my skinny 12 year old arms.

Did I mention I turn 13 next week?! I'm so excited. I love birthdays, only day when it's actually about me.
"Adina are you gonna sit next to me?" Lucas says knocking me out of my day dreaming. I put him down on the floor. "Don't I always silly" I respond and get back to setting up the table.

"No last time you sat next to honey"

Oh that's right

"But evie wanted to sit next to you remember?"

"Oh yea..."
