Wow Josh is so nice. I didn't think he was like that but I was wrong. He bought me icecream and drove me home. I can't believe I was mean to him! ugh I feel so bad! I wish I could take it back.
I go up to my room and do my homework at my desk for about an hour and then I hear my mom call me down to come eat. I leave my room and head for the kitchen. "Yay! Shrimp!" I yeld. My dad smiles. I hear my Seven year old sister Charlie come down the stairs. She is so cute. Her eyes a beautiful ocean blue, and her silky brunette hair. We all sit down as a family to eat and socialize.
Mom; So how was you guys day at school?
Charlie; It was so fun!
Dad; And Cloe, what about you?
Me; We won our Volley ball game. and Austin and Josh took us to get icecream afterwards.
Dad;Whos Josh?
Me; The new kid. Hes friends with Austin.
Mom; Is that the handsome boy that drove you home?
Me; Yeahh..why?
Dad; How old is he?
Me; 17..
Then everyone got quiet and I finished my food and asked to be excused from the table. I keep replaying that moment at the icecream shop when he called me babe. Why would he do that? I go up to my room and Write in my diary.
"Wow I can't stop thinking about Josh. just looking at him made me feel like I have control. but I don't want to take advantage of that..He bought me icecream today, drove me home and filled up my water bottle at the volley ball game today. I didn't even know he was there until I got to the benches.."
I'll write more later, I thought. I check my phone and see I have three new texts. I go into my messages.
New text from Josh
New text from Austin
New text from Jade
I open the text from Jade first
Heyy! me and Austin are going to a movie Saturday. Wanna come?
Then I opened the one from Austin
HEY! Can you come to the movies Saturday? Jades mom doesn't want her going alone. Maybe bring Josh?
I smiled, and then read the one from Josh
Hey, can I ask you somehing?
I texted Austin back saying I can't because I have to Babysit. Then I texted Jade the same thing.
My dad walks in the room. and says "Cloe, We need to talk...."
