Everyone could see the basement.
The basement showed a man, in his thirties, getting devoured by thousands upon thousands of moths, this man was a famous politician, shackled to the roof.
Behind the man were satanic symbols and the names of previous serial killers. Shelves crammed with jars full of ashes line the background view.
Despite the fact that it was a soundproof basement, everyone could hear his screams. The live stream had gathered around forty-two million viewers in the past twenty minutes. This, of course, didn't even include all the people streaming my stream.
Police have already attempted to shut it down several different times, but each time I recoded it so the live stream would remain up.
As the moths finished the body, they fluttered over into the camera, then the live shutdown, almost as soon as it started.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Days had passed after the second live stream.
There have been two confirmed bodies so far, and they were both found within a mile of her home. Her countryside memories would never remain the same, with the constant fear of going into the forest.
After much decision, she decided it would be better to just find an apartment in the busy city. After all, she worked in the city already, so it was a logical choice to make.
The first two streams were daily, but there hasn't been one in the three days since.
She stood, looking around her mostly decorated apartment. A few boxes were still stacked in the corner, but other than that, it looked amazing, or at least she thought so. She went and sat down on the blue sofa, laying her laptop on the coffee table.
She pushed her slightly curly hair out of her face after admiring how the blue highlights complemented the natural black.
She opened the laptop, first, checking the news. No sign of another live stream today. She checked the corner of the screen "7:19" it read and slightly below it, it said "Saturday."
She went to her 'notes' folder and put in the password 'MonTue' . Here were her notes on recent events, such as the two live streaming killings, the first with moths, and the second with maggots.
No one knew anything regarding this killer, the first assumption was he was killing people of high authority, but with the second victim, this theory was shut down. Now the only idea they had was killing for fear or fun. Not much, but the only thing that makes sense.
She looked into her screen, seeing a slight reflection of herself, for what felt like forever she stared at this familiar figure staring back at her, imitating her hazel eyes.
She looked down at herself, viewing what she was wearing. The usual blue T- shirt and sweat pants.
After some more working she went to bed.

Sunday passed fast, mostly just unpacking the remaining boxes.
--
She woke up Monday morning still extremely tired, but work doesn't stop for a sleepy employee, so she got up and got dressed in her black and red work Uniform.
She opened her laptop, surprised and she immediately focused. The laptop read "Live stream starting in four minutes."
