CHAPTER 8: missing you pt 2

"Um- Nevermind.. it can't happen right.." he shrugged off with a faint smile

I just looked down hesitantly..

It hurts.. seeing him like this hurts

I looked at him with doe eyes, biting my lower lip hesitantly..

"Huh? No- I'm not asking that someone to like me back.. it's- okay if he doesn't.." he almost panicked at my expression

I just kept staring at him hesitantly which definitely made him confused

"Shall we go?" I asked in tiny
"S-sure.." he shuddered and we started walking away

We didn't even hold hands while heading back and everything became awkward again

He really likes me?

I kept staring at the white empty ceiling..

It's 3:45 am right now

And I'm still not asleep, thinking about what he just told me

Next morning~
TAE'S POV:
I blinked my eyes and saw sae sitting next to me staring at me like I'm a dead mummy preserved at a museum..

"Finally you're up.." she sighed and I just stared with my half eyes open
"How long are you gonna stay like this? You're already late!" She slightly yelled, then i slightly lift up my head to see the time it's..TEN FUCKING FIFTEEN!?

"OH NOO!!" I literally yelled
"Back to your memories? Go fresh up now" she crosses her arms and stood up to leave
"Yaaaaaah" I shouted gaining her attention, she turned back at me
"How about I take an off today?" I asked and she stood there, placing her hands on her hips, lowkey in the verge of cursing me
"But I have to go today.." she stated
"It's ok I'll stay!" I grinned
"Sleepy ass!" She muttered
"Pweoseeeeeeee" i showed my puppy eyes..

I just want her permission to stay, she's like a strict teacher.

"FINEE, the food is on the table, don't forget to eat after you got freshed up" she paused
"AFTER FRESHED UP! YEAH?" She said with a loud voice
"Yes ma'am!"
"Good! I'll leave now, yeah?" she said with a pat on my head and gave a peck on my cheeks and left

Maybe she didn't kiss me on lips because I didn't even brush my teeth yet..maybe?

I went back to sleep, because I'm definitely not going to training today and I feel tired as fish

Wait.. if I don't go there..

JJK'S POV:
It's already 11am and tae is still not here..

Maybe he doesn't want to see me ever again?

I'm such a Dumbo :-

I just sat there staring at the door if in case tae is arriving late but he never came

I shouldn't have told him like that

Now he doesn't even like to face me again..

"Yo!" Jimin tapped my shoulder
"Hm?"
"Who you're waiting for?" He asked
"Nothing.."
"Tae righttt???" He teased
"No" I lied
"But I can hear your heart saying it's tae"
"Shut up" I got flustered

Later at evening~
JIMIN'S POV:
The training is already over and we're back home..

And right now I'm sitting in the couch, scrolling my phone while I see jungkook walking around the house since last one hour..

Dafaq is wrong with him?

"Yah!" I called him and he took a glance at me and turned back, continued walking
"What on the living earth is wrong with you? " I asked and he just shrugged off
"You're thinking about taehyung, is it? " I asked and he just stared at me like ima trashcan

I quickly took my phone and dialled tae

On call*
Tae: hey chim
Jm: sup
Tae: nothing~
Jm: why didn't you come to training today?
Tae: I fell asleep
Jm: and why didn't you pick up the call back then?
Tae: I just noticed that my phone is dead, so I charged it--
Jm: ...
Tae: guess what? My percentage is still on 3
*both bursts out laughing for no reason*
Jm(on speaker): so you're all fine?
Tae: yeah!
Jm: you are completely fine?
Tae: absolutely!
Jm: cool
Tae: why?
Jm: well someone here is really worried about yo--
*call end*

The call got cut when jungkook suddenly jumped over me and grabbed my phone, ending the call

"Hey!!" I frowned
"What? "
"You're not supposed--" I got cut when my phone rang again

*on call*
Jm: hey Tae~
Tae: yeah what happened?
Jm: nothing, i just got another call
Tae: oh fine! Bye!
Jm: bye
*call end*

Next day~
TAE'S POV:
I entered in class and saw jimin and koo are already here!

"Heyy!!" jimin came for a hug and i did hug him back!

Just not seeing them for a day makes me miss them so badly

Then I looked at jungkook who just stood there staring at me nervously

"Hello.." i said kinda nervous, but with a grin
"Hi.." he replied and we both just stood there feeling awkward

One week later~
TAE'S POV:
I'm in class right now..

I just wanted to.. like--

Seeing Jungkook everyday makes me fall for him even more..

I did like him, but seeing him everyday, every moment, every fucking second makes me fall for him even more and harder..

I just sat behind him staring at him, I still didn't go front cuz maybe, Jungkook didn't like me sitting with him?

I don't know why and all, but I just want to give him enough space and.. make sure that he's comfortable with me

After classes I decided to head back as usual and so I did..

When I entered in my apartment, i heard some noise like.. it's sae, jin and Joon i guess?

I went in and took a look and yeah it's them!

"Hello!" I said
"Hi" everyone greeted me
"How are you guys?" I took a seat next to namjoon hyung
"We're fine, what about you?" Joon asked
"I'm fine too" i grinned
"When did y'all come here?" I added
"Before a few minutes!" Jin said a little excited
"Oh coo-"
"We'd like to invite both of you to our engagement!" Jin said with a wide grin
"Oh.. WAIT WHEN?" I asked
"Coming January!" Namjoon added
"Awwieee I'd definitely come!" I said

It's been a while since they left our place. I was about to go take a shower when saeron spoke again

"Honey, what about our engagement?" Sae started. I hesitated because I don't think I can..

"You okay?" She asked, glancing at my reaction
"Yeah.." I paused

Ok. Take a deep breath. Let's just talk it out!

"I don't think this would work out anymore.." i finally let out
