here we go, another day of school loads of assignments and exams coming next month I feel like giving up but I can't. FUCK SCHOOLS
suddenly someone came running from the back and smacked my head “AH WTF” i groaned in pain. It was chanhee my best friend tbh my only friend since childhood.
“ya yoonsol how did you wake up early today?” chanhee asked
“why??? can't I wake up early???”
“you're always late for school because you oversleep”
“I STUDY AT NIGHT TILL 3AM WHAT DO YOU EXPECT” I said almost screaming
“and you still suck at maths <3”
“oh shut up” I said in an annoyed tone
“let's go to the class and study for our test today”
“pls help me in maths test today”
“you'll have to give me a treat then”
“ok i will”
we went to the class and started revising what we have studied for the test and honestly I've only studied 1 chapter.. the test starts in 10 mins and I am panicking.
the test started and I did whatever I could in the test I'll pass with whatever I have did but I need high marks. Chanhee was right in front of me. I wanted to ask Chanhee for help in the exam to show me some questions but something in me wanted to get high marks without any help. Cheating felt like a sin at that time so I didn't ask for anything.
the test ended I was really frustrated chanhee looked me, he came and sat beside me on the seat that was empty. “did it go well?” he asked. I shook my head signalling a no. “It's fine these tests are for practice ! We still have the main exam to go right? I know you'll ace it”. I responded to him “I'll try to..”. “You'll be good at maths BUT NOT BETTER THEN ME”. “I WILL BE BETTER THEN YOU” I said confidently. “In your dreams” chanhee said and then continued “whatever just try your best ok?”. “sure I will !”

“FINALLY SCHOOL IS OVER I AM SO TIRED” I said in relief. “yah chanhee do you want to eat something?”. “like what” he asked. “Let's eat tteokbokki at my house?” I asked. “YESS LET'S GO” he said. he likes tteokbokki very much and I could see the excitement on his face.
We walked to our houses. We live in the same building and he lives in the house that is in front of mine. we live there since our childhood. Our parents are really close because they all work in the same company.
“MUM I AM HOME I AM SO TIRED I'LL GO TAKE A BATH” I said rushing to my room. why is it suddenly so hot today omg I'll burn. I turn on the AC, sit there for some mins, take a shower and come out in the living room. “mum I'll order tteokbokki for lunch ! Chanhee is coming too !” and mom said “ahh ask his eomma to come here too let's all have lunch together !”. “Sure” I responded and called chanhee.
on the call ::
“ya chanhee listen, bring your mom here too my mom said let's all of us have lunch together”
“oh ok I'll be there in a minute”
“okk I'll order the tteokbokki, OH WAIT WHICH ONE SHOULD I ORDER”
“cheese tteokbokki” chanhee said
“sure sure”
him and his mom came to our home and I hugged aunty “how are you aunty did you take your medicines today?”. “Aww yes honey I did” aunty said. chanhee coughed “mom why don't you adopt her as your daughter.” we all let out a little laugh. “the tteokbokki is heree” I exclaimed in joy.
we started eating and our moms started talking
Mrs. Choi are you going there?” my mom asked, and aunty answered “yes I'll be going I think”. “I will go too” my mom said. “mum what happened?” I asked and chanhee continued “where are you all going?”. “there's this project our company announced today and I think some employees gotta work on it in japan for some months” aunty choi added “I think it's gonna be maximum 8 months to an year.” chanhee let out an “ohh” and I said “but what about us ? we are gonna miss you so much :( ”. “We'll come meet you guys in every 2 months don't worry kids ! chanhee would be here anyways and both of you keep going from one house to another on a daily basis anyways, so both of you can take care of each other !”. then my mom said “yes ! take care of each other don't fight and eat well ! also Chanhee, if she won't eat her food or stay up till 3 am please call me.” “sure aunty” chanhee said and sticked his tounge out while looking at me and I glared at him.
we finished out lunch and aunty choi said “mrs. lee, we'll be going tomorrow in the afternoon after kids are done with their school so be ready !” “of course I will !” my mom said. “ah also would you both like to live in one house till we come home?” aunty choi asked “you both practically spend your whole day together all the time so wouldn't it be better for both of you to just live together? we could be a little less worried then you know” me and chanhee looked at each other with joy because come on ! who wouldn't love to live with their bestie. both of us agreed. then aunty and chanhee were about to leave. “bye aunty take care” I hugged aunty choi “of course sweetie and you too !” she said in response and then they left
