Third Person's P.O.V.

"Young master...your father will be angry if we are late"

"I'll deal with him, just do as I say" Taehyung spoke not taking his gaze off of the tinted window of the luxurious car that was supposed to drive him back from school but was currently following after a limping teenager, who was dragging his wrecked bicycle home.

"You could offer to drop your friend home, he seems to be struggling" the man driving him spoke again.

"He's not my friend" Taehyung spoke again, voice heavy and devoid of any emotion "he's just too stupid to survive school on his own."

The car turned quiet and none of them spoke again as the man on the wheel realized the intention that drove their young master.

"You can help him" Dong-ha spoke with eyes trained on the road, the words more than a suggestion.

But Taehyung didn't speak, eyes still stiffly set on the tinted glass as he watched the limping boy slowly come to a halt to open the latch of a plain wooden door to an apartment building that seemed to have been built following the common features of apartments with lower rents and simple rooms.

He had always imagined what life looked like inside those plain walls or if the sky looked any different through those small windows. He wanted to know if those rooms were as suffocating as the large rooms in his lavish house...if falling asleep on the bed in that little room was harder than it was for him to fall asleep in his expensive imported mattress. Was life just as empty there as it sounded in the echoing marble halls in his father's bungalow?

There was so much he wanted to know about, there was so much he wanted to do...if only he was allowed.

Taehyung slipped in through the doors soundlessly, walking in haste now as he pulled his hoodie over his head and tried to pass by unnoticed.

"Where were you?"

He froze in his steps at the heavy voice that came from the couch in the large living room where his father sat rigidly going through the newspaper.

"I remember telling you that you are not to stay out after school...and I heard that you've been coming home late every now n then for the last few weeks..."

"The practice went on a little longer" he quickly spoke ducking his head, trying not to face him before he was heading upstairs.

"The rules are there for a reason!"

The warning boomed through the room, making Taehyung halt in his steps again. He wanted to scoff at his words and say that the rules were there only to make his life miserable. He didn't understand why his father was so eager about keeping him under surveillance all the fucking time!
He felt like a prisoner who didn't know what to be guilty about, and yet he felt as if he had done something terrible as he stood there gulping for the tiny error he had committed.

He was trying to ignore it and go ahead when his father spoke again.

"Freshen up and come down, there's an important event tonight...I have to be there, and you're coming along" his father put the paper down, giving a stern look to the boy who was already grimacing at the order.

"I got stuff to do-" "Irrelevant" his father asserted, decisively discarding the excuse.

"I don't wanna go~" the teenager whined now looking up at his father, grumbling as he made a face "those are boring as heck!"

"I don't want to hear another complaint! Go and change, and wear something that's-" he eyed the ripped jeans and over-sized hoodie the boy was dressed in "not these excuse of clothes...what a ridiculous way for a young man to be dressed in!"
