Not a single innocent soul should be suffering for the mistake they didn't do

"Annayya! adi naadi" I glared at my monkey brother Kaushik who paid no heeds and killed my piece in Ludo and laughed like any villain they show in movies.
(Brother, that's mine.)
"Anduke kada" He said, trying to stop his laugh but failed miserably.
(That's why)
Listening to our ranting, Mother India came to the living room and warned us to behave with our age and not like animals. We just shrugged off and continued our play to defeat each other.
A few moments later
"Oye ippudu naa turn" I said snatching the dice from his hands.
(Oii.. it's my turn now.)
Damn man. I don't know why he's that strong.
"Kaadu naadi" he again snatched the dice from me and there starts the fight to snatch dice from each other's.
(No. It's my turn.)
"Devuda! Em avthundi ikkada?" Amma asked shooting daggers with her eyes.
(God! What's happening here?)
I gulped so as my Anna.
She came towards us. Shiva! I am not this much scared even for my exams.
"Amma nenu em cheyyaledu" he said with an innocent face as if he is.
(Ma, I didn't do anything.)
"Rey nijalu matladukundam." I said glaring at him but Amma was as usual fed up our silly fights.
(Rey, let's talk truths.)
"Amma nenu cheyyaledu. Annayye naa daggara nunchi dice laakkunnadu" I said in an accusing tone.
(Ma, I didn't do anything. He snatched the dice from me.)
When that donkey was about to say something she cut him off.
"Aapandi iddaru. Shashi, repo mapo pelli avvali ilana untav? Kaushi, Shashi kanna peddavadivi neeku malli pratyekam gaa cheppala?" She said glaring at both of us. We are gone.
(Stop you both. Shashi, you're getting married and is this how you behave? Kaushi, you're elder than her, should I tell you especially?)
"Shashi vellu nischithardam ki saree chusanu edi nacchindo cheppu. Kaushi mamayya phone chesaru, edo event gurinchi anta vellu." She shooed us like anything note the sarcasm but her talking about my marriage made me think about that day.
(Shashi go and select the saree for engagement. Kaushii, uncle called you regarding some event.)
I said yes after that day. Krishna got my number from Nannamma and used to text me regularly but there's still a feeling in my heart. Is my decision correct? Will this marriage sail?
My thoughts came to a halt when Amma asked me about the sarees. I gave her a sheepish grin and digged into the sarees. Some are light, some are bright, some are pale. Ah! This is irritating. I kept the phone aside and laid on the bed. Amma came inside and saw me snuggling into the bed.
