I turn on the radio
just to hear you sing your melodies again
soft voice resonates, inner voice resound
the past is flashing like a montage
as your voice echoed on the stereo
strange how i felt your voice
warm and calm
like the Summer breeze you're here again to bring me warmth;
a tormented wishful thinking
longing melancholy of the wilted days
dreams and nightmare collected as soon as you gone by
you sing of words i kept for ages
like a pressed flowers inside a book
sealing a promise we bound to not break
but you left and i am bound to let the remnants scatter through the wind
wilted petals, fermented scent wafted into thin air
the stillness of the night changes
the summer breeze drifting
as i hear you sing your last refrain
“Sing me to sleep and kiss me goodbye.”
