Chapter 1: Earth

Clarke's POV:
It had been a about more then thirty days that we had been on earth, without radio contact from the ark we were alone out here no one to guide us, but I'm not saying I missed my cell in the ark but at least I had a bed and food.. I was sitting outside the fenced walls that surrounded the drop ship, slowly I started to fall asleep as I closed my eyes. I quickly jumped up as I heard a tree branch crack, grabbing for my knife, as I clenched the sharp blade around my fingers well hearing the branches start to break closer and closer. I looked over my shoulder to see what had been coming closer. I slightly sighed as to see it was only Bellamy. "What are you doing out here" he smirked acting like I was any less then him. I rolled my eyes and started heading back for the drop ship. Why should he be questioning me? I'm not the who sleeps with a new girl every night I thought to my self as walked through gate seeing everyone half asleep glaring at because I had just woke them up. I quickly smiled and quietly walked around them not realizing It was really early in the morning. As I walked into the drop ship to see Raven still trying to find away to contact the ark. She sighed and flopped her head on the table, taking that as a sigh that she didn't get a signal from the ark. I slightly sighed as I sat next to her. "You'll get it next time!" I said smiling trying to look as positive as possible even though I could tell it didn't work a bit. It was silent for a few minutes till Octavia came bursting through the drop ship doors. I quickly sat up not realizing I had fell asleep "Clarke! Our hut with the meat, its on fire!" Octavia said grabbing my arm. I quickly followed her. As we got to the hut not seeing much but ashes. I quickly started to realize that this was the last of our food. Bellamy quickly ran over and stopped beside me "What the hell happened here?!" He asked as he knew that the had been we're all our meat was. "We need to send teams out if we want to have supper tonight" I said loud so the whole camp could here. They all nodded and went into groups of 2-4. Somehow I ended up with Bellamy knowing that this would be the longest trip of my life. As I went to grab a knife, Finn was there too I quickly grabbed a random knife because no way I was gonna talk to Finn. He lied to me saying he wasn't with anybody and then who come down in a pod ship, Raven! I thought to myself not realizing Bellamy had been calling my name to get my attention. I grabbed my pack  and ran over to Bellamy. Even though I had to be stuck with Bellamy I know he is probably the best hunter in the camp as much as I hated saying it. We were walking through woods for hours now and there were no signs of anything! Out of nowhere someone had hit a rock of my head causing me to fall to the ground as my vision started to get blurry, I saw the same thing happen to Bellamy. Trying to see who had done this, but till I knew it my vision went blurry and then black.
