Mishka's Pov
"What the heck did you do huhh?! This was not expected from you!" How could you?!"
These kinds of horrible alligations were thrown at a little girl sitting against a wall. Her eyes screaming the horror she faced. She was injured, her brain stopped working- she couldn't take that anymore. She felt the painting running behind her and brutally attacking her in a way nobody could see. Maybe there were some damage caused because of the horror she felt towards the sacred painting.
"LEAVE ME ALONE, THAT PAINTING WILL ATTACK US SOON!" A petite and slim women came running towards the Little girl and took her out of the room via force. "Take your daughter home, how dare she insult our sacred culture!"Mridula opened her eyes in hurry. She was panting heavily- this dream still haunts her like nothing else. She looked around and found that birds were chirping merrily and the clouds were playing in the sky with the sun.
She found Aniket still fast asleep and tiptoed out of the room. Mishka was already up and having a cup of coffee.
Seeing Mridula she asked "Wanna have some?"
"Not now, let me freshen up first."
_________
"So, yesterday you were in pair of night shorts infront of my bhaii whom I can call as a stranger for you." Mishka asked while lifting up one of her eyebrows a bit.
"Yeah, unintentionally ofc. I mean it was his fault."
Mishka nodded her head while sipping her next cup of coffee.
"You know, I was looking through one of the murals here and it was so beautiful. I have painted many but one I saw was so amazingly pretty, you won't believe me." Mishka said
"Let me see then!" Mridula exclaimed.Mishka said "Come with me but remember one thing Murshid Chacha is ought to not hear about this."
Third Person's POV
Mishka dragged Mridula to a well decorated large chamber. There were different murals hanging on the wall.
Mishka's pointed finger gathered her attention to one of the most artistically drawn painting with a rare sequence. Mridula was awestruck with one glance of it- she consumed each details with delicacy and she could say Mishka wasn't wrong. It was a rare masterpiece!
The Mural
Mridula was caught up with the rare Mexican Mural (as per Mishka) while suddenly her eyes saw a painting covered with a red silky cloth.
Mridula asked Mishka, while pointing at that painting "What's that?"
Mishka was hesitant about revealing its abouts to Mishka but decided otherwise.
"That's the sacred painting of this Kuldhara RajMahal. Whole Kuldhara considered it sacred but a incident-" She sighed. "It's now the cursed painting. I don't even know why people called it sacred at the first place. I mean just to follow some Tantrik's words!"
"Why?"
"This painting is very difficult to assess, it creates a sense of horror and antsy."
Mridula teared the cloth open not paying heed to Mishka's warnings and then she stumbled upon the familiarity.
It was the same painting which burdens are mind and heart at night.
She could hear Mishka, but her callings were faint and finally she fell into the pit of darkness and burials.
