Trigger warning: Killing, violence
Saipis:-
Zivanka clutched her head as she slowly got back to her consciousness. The blurry vision was not helping her either as she tried to understand where is she.
The black ash falling around her and the eerie silence was creeping her up. Her whole body was in pain as she tried to stand from that fall. She winced when her slowly healing broken ankle was suddenly weighed with her body weight. The lack of energy was making her weak and tired. She looked around from where she is standing to get a grasp of the situation. The long ash-covered stairs in the front made nothing to calm her nerves.
"Welcome to my humble home, Princess" A voice boomed from the end of the stairs.
She flinched when she realised that was Alvarz. The darkness makes it difficult for her to spot him. Even in that injured state, she was ready to fight him.
"Ahh.........I should have known, the Light of Saipis must find hard to see through this darkness. Let me take care of that"
She winced and closed her eyes as light poured from the windows around. She slowly raised her eyes trying to adjust the sudden light exposure.
She saw Alvarz at the end of the stairs staring dead in her eyes. But what caught her eyes was the giant portrait behind him. The happy family picture was something she knows but was not able to recollect.
"Enjoying my little family picture Princess?" Alvarz tilted his head in a sinister way as he saw her trying to understand what was going on.
Her eyes widened when she realised the once bright Sioux castle was where she is standing. The kingdom of Alvarz. The grand picture of The Sioux family. Tears started to pool her eyes as she closed her eyes trying to forget the brutally murdered bodies of The King and Queen of Sioux.
Alvarz smirked as he saw her state, and he was enjoying that.
"They deserved it, Princess. I killed them. I don't see anything wrong in my doing" He said as slowly descends from the stairs.
"Deserved it? Even your unborn sibling?" Zivanka shouted back, tears rolling down her eyes.
"Well, that's a mistake. But still, that thing was destined to die whether it was born or unborn. I should have waited till its birth, but I was in a hurry" Alvarz said in a dismissive tone.
"You are the one who doesn't deserve to be born, let alone deserve this family. Why are you doing this?" Zivanka sobbed hard.
"Because it's fun" Alvarz gave a frightening smile as he stood face to face with her.
Fury boiled through her entire body as she punched him hard on his face.
Alvarz stumbled back. The blood from his nose and the pain somehow created euphoria in him as he smiled back at a fuming Zivanka. Even without her energy, she is strong, he thought.
"I will not quickly kill you Alvarz. I will make you suffer to the point where you regret being born" Zivanka spat as she charged towards Alvarz.
"Aren't you forgetting something Princess? Epos is still with me" Alvarz said with a cocky smile.
Alvarz knew that a single sentence was enough to halt Zivanka and he was right about that.
"What have you done to him?" cold fear started to creep all over Zivanka's body as her voice quaked.
"Awww......aren't you a good sister" Alvarz cackled.
"Where is he, Alvarz?" Zivanka grabbed him by his black orb as she stared into his emotionless eyes.
"Behind you, my love"
Zivanka dropped him and turned around praying to see him alive. Her eyes widened with fear as she saw him.
"Eposssssss...................." she screamed as she ran towards her brother.
New York:-
The soft sound of raindrops falling over the balcony floor often takes away Vernon's sadness. But today, it was not helping him either. Everything around him reminds me of her.
Past a week he was pondering through his brain trying to find a sensible reason for the breakup. Tears were uncontrollably flowing from his eyes and he was hating that. He knew he was hurting himself thinking about her again but the wounds are fresh and memories were like salt rubbing all over it.
The sound of his doorbell distracted his depressive train of thoughts. Hesitant to leave his cocoon, he stood up from his and slowly waddled towards the door. Opening the door, he was greeted by Jake with a cheerful smile and a wave.
"You, smell like shit" Jake gave a disgusting face as he walked in.
"I know, sorry for that" Vernon answered apologetically as he followed jake inside.
"Did you eat anything?" Jake asked while scanning through the beer bottles in the hall.
"Yeah......I think I did" Vernon said reluctantly.
"Uh..huh. I can see that" Jake said pointing to the beer bottles around him.
"I am sorry man, I just wanted to see Anya one more time. I don't think I can survive without her" Vernon said in a sad tone.
Jake sighed as he rubbed his temples tiredly.
"Vernon, please for god sake, if she wanted to come back she should have contacted you within a week. All she has done is block you on every platform. I know you're in pain and that's why I left you alone for a week. Seems like it was not a good idea after all"
"You're working on a very important project and many people's life and income are on line. We have been answering every call, mails and contact about your sudden disappearance. Sitting inside an isolated room, thinking about your ex, again and again, don't ease your pain" Jake gave him a pleading look.
Vernon closed his eyes. Even though he doesn't want to admit to any of those, deep inside he knew that Anya was not coming back. He just wanted to hear that from someone else. And it's painful.
"I will be back in Studio by evening, tell them to prepare everything" Vernon tiredly said to Jake.
Jake hugged him tightly and said "See you there bud"
"Yeah" Vernon said as he hugged him back.
