Jungkook rubbed his temple with his index finger, raising a single brow at his friends. "Why? Literally why? We already know Taehyung's not gonna do it."

"I'll do it!" Tae said in protest, wrapping his arms around himself.

Jimin snorted. "Nope. He ain't doing it. Come on Kook, let's go in."

"Right." Jungkook and Jimin went inside the tattoo parlor before Taehyung could even speak. Jungkook could feel Taehyung pouting from here, but he didn't bother turning to meet it. "What do you want to get? Don't tell me your girlfriend's face."

"I have taste, I'd tattoo her ass on my ass. That's true love."

"Why are we friends?"

Jimin chuckled and didn't answer, Jungkook observing the vicinity. It was as edgy as Jungkook's bedroom, a darker palette cloaking their eyesight. It didn't help that the place was busy, many customers rushing in and out. The area was too small to accommodate for more than a handful, and now there were over a dozen people (who weren't staff) here waiting for tattoos. Jungkook wondered why today of all days was busy, he just chose a random day. Jimin, on the other hand, was the one who suggested waiting until tomorrow to get them. Maybe Jimin was right.

"Don't you have class later?" Jimin asked, Jungkook tilting his head to peep at Jimin as he got in line.

"No. I only have one class on Friday's. Like 90% of the population is the same way. I already did mine in the morning. Why do you ask?"

"Just wondering, this may take a while. And no, before you ask, I don't have any classes later. I had my morning class too."

"That's literally like the entire campus. Very few people actually like doing anything on Friday's other than fucking and sleeping. Maybe eating too."

Jimin smirked, "Speaking of-"

"No, I do not want to hear the enthralling details about the astounding sex life of Park Jimin. I'm okay, thank you though."

"Are you sure? I can talk about how big my dic-"

"Stop talking." Jimin shut his mouth, Jungkook on the inside chortling at Jimin's... choice... words. Jimin was one of Jungkook's closest friends along with Taehyung and Namjoon. Although to be fair, Namjoon is more like a mentor-figure. Jungkook found him in one of his classes, and that was when Jungkook learned it wasn't shameful to ask for help. Namjoon was most likely the reason why Jungkook asked Y/n for help, despite them both being not the best at school. They help each other now. And there was something about that idea that brought him warmth.

"What do you want to get? Another tiger flower?" Jimin asked.

"Not another, I like the one I have now." Jungkook rolled up his sleeves, something he didn't do often, showing off the ink on him. Very few knew his secrets, and his tattoos were one of them. He had tattoos all over his body, normally in places not visible. It was like a promise to himself. Each design was unique, it was-

"Hey, isn't that Y/n?" Jimin said, interrupting Jungkook's thoughts.

His head snapped up in time to see the woman he had grown so accustomed to standing in front of the counter. She was far, too far to notice Jimin and Jungkook without turning, but he had a clear view of her. The woman donned a cute black dress, the frills shaping her body perfectly while heeled boots sat on her feet. There were no tattoos on the visible part of her skin, but from the way she was speaking to the man behind the counter, they seemed acquainted. Not to mention Y/n was holding a tattoo gun.

Jungkook motioned for Jimin to stay while he cut in line, sliding up front much to the other patron's dismay. He ignored them, waiting for Y/n to be done with her conversation before butting in. "Y/n? The hell are you doing here?" he asked, his voice making her jump and whip around.

"Holy shit - Jungkook? Why do we keep running into each other?"

"We're very obviously soulmates, Miss L/n, don't deny it," he said, smirking after.

"I threw up in my mouth."

"Huh, maybe your breath will smell better now."

"Why you-"

He cut her off by laughing, standing off to the side so other customers could speak to the man handling business. "You know I didn't mean it like that. I'm just busting your balls."

"I can bust yours, if you'd like." She glanced down. "If I can find them, that is. Might need a microscope."

"Oh haha." Jungkook playfully rolled his eyes, snickering at her joke. Definitely a joke, Jungkook knew that she'd be astonished by what he was hiding down there. "You still didn't answer my question. What are you doing here, hm?"

"Um, it's a tattoo parlor. I'm holding a tattoo gun. I know you're not very smart, but-"

"You work here?"

She shrugged, twirling the gun in her hand. "Kind of. I'm still in training. It's a very very small, part time thing. Like twice a week. I um... I love art, and I know you do too, so I doubt I need to ask why you're here."

"You've always been smarter than me." She opened her mouth to speak, Jungkook holding his hand up to interrupt her. "And don't say 'that doesn't take much'. Throw me a bone here, come on I'm about to give you money."

Y/n didn't disagree. She peeked back at Jimin, and the two waved at each other. Jungkook felt a pang hit his heart at the action, and he wasn't sure why. Jealousy? Over two people waving to each other? When one was taken? What the hell was going on with him...

"Alright Jeon, get back in line, I'm going to go do some more training-"

"Do my tattoo."

Her head cocked to the side. "Do your tattoo? Are you insane? I'm still doing practice rounds."

"I don't care. You can mess up, it's fine. I want you to do mine." 'It would be more special that way' was the part he didn't say. The part he wanted to, but he didn't. "Please? We'll wait in line, Jimin will get his while Taehyung pouts outside, but I want you to do mine. Even if it's at the end of your shift."

She stared at him, him staring back. He resisted the urge to gnaw on his lower lip, his heart thumping against his chest. But why? Was it at the prospect that a friendship like this would get him back to Hana? Maybe redemption with her too? Or was it that he was looking at the wrong girl this whole time? However, his thoughts are once again interrupted by the same woman, her grin filling his heart with a hotness that gave him the answer to his internal struggle. Then, she spoke.

"Alright... I'll do your tattoo, Jeon..."
