Blood & Tears was as miserable as it sounded, right?
I almost didn't write this one, but the idea just sort of came to me. All at once, fully formed. I liked the past/present narrative, and Sharpe was an interesting character to me. Looking back, I can tell I definitely had more taste for misery than I do nowadays.
