Janie was looking down at her extremely small hands. They twirled about, she was silent. Something she hardly was, she kept glancing up, as if to check if he was still there. They were on the bus, on the way to the train station, both their parents had sadly had something 'extremely' important to do.
Which ended up in the, standing amongst the hoards of old ladies, with too much make up, and dyed hair. On a bus, having absolutely no space to do anything what so ever. Janie had wedged herself in the corner, providing her a good spot to lean on, as they went by. Around them spring had just about started. The flowers were blooming and the lake was defrosting, but that didn't stop them from wearing coats. They were savouring that last need to wear them. As for almost a month they would be scorching. April. When the sun decides it's a great time to come out, and in Texas, well let's just say there's no warning.

His bag was tucked between his legs. As he held onto the pole next to him, her's though was leaned next to her. Her dark brown curls hung loosely around her face, she would reach out and tuck it back in ever so often.

People probably took pity on her, as later on in the bus ride, she found herself sitting next to a nice looking old lady. Who's trolley, a bright shade of purple was on her foot, but she didn't mind, she had been on the bus for a total of two hours and she couldn't make herself mind.

He though, still stood. This time right next to her, his hip the height of her. She still did look up at him, and he would brush against her. Reminding her, that he was there. It worked like that. They would have only each other for this coming month. They had to get used to each other.

The last stop had come, and they had to get off. He offered her his hand and led them out of the bus. As soon as they left the premises of the bus, he let go. Looking down at her. She wasn't looking up this time, she was looking straight ahead. At the train station that stood before them.

She seemed in awe that this was actually happening. He looked straight now. He didn't want to be caught staring, but as the blood rushed into her cheeks, he knew she had seen.

She gripped tighter onto the handle of her suitcase and her other hand meddled with the end of her back pack strap.

His hand that already gripped tightly onto his backpack strap seemed to grip tighter.

They were on there way. They looked back at the somewhat warm atmosphere of the town and sighed. This was going to be a long month.
