Chapter 15

-Chapter 15: Warning-

「𝙰𝚞𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚛'𝚜  𝙿.𝚘.𝚟 」

"You touch my Tsugukos and I won't hesitate to decapitate you." Kanao stated bitterly as she glared down at them from the roof of the Butterfly Estate.

The ghouls glared at her.

"Just because we are close to your god damn Tsuguko, it doesn't mean we're gonna eat him." Kaneki stated as he glared at her.

She motioned for Hinata to come closer to her, but he didn't.

"Shōyō, come here now." She stated. She didn't like him being around them. The blood that reeked from them made her feel uncomfortable. It was...

Unpleasant.

"But Kanao... They're really nice." He said. Kanao clicked her tongue.

"Shōyō, you're no use if you disobey orders." She stated bitterly. She was angered and angsty. With a war she knows is coming soon, why wouldn't she be?

"Can't I just take a day off today?" He asked. "No!" Kanao shouted, her anger boiling up. He flinched as he saw her angered expression. She covered her mouth as she realized what she said.

"I-I'm Sorry Shoyo...I-" He ran away from her.

"Wow, way to go little miss perfect." Ayato stated as he rolled his eyes. They knew of the boy's past, he told them and so did her other Tsuguko. Her eyes widened in surprise. Him leaving her reminded her of Shinobu. She bit down on her lip drawing blood.

"It doesn't matter. He was weak anyways." She stated. She didn't actually think that. Something in her hurt. It was a Familiar feeling. Ah yes, it was her only weakness. Her only fear.

Being left alone and losing people around her.

"Tch. How are you even a hero." Touka questioned as she went in the direction Hinata went. Followed by the other ghouls. 'I... I don't want Toru, Atsumu, and Hinata to participate anymore...' She thought.

"I really regret choosing Tsuguko..." She spoke a loud.

Unbeknownst to her, two individuals heard her.

'Are we really that weak for you, Kanao?'

Kanao held herself back from yawning. Ever since that incident she hadn't been herself. She took on more missions. Slept less. Ate less. Interacted less.

Trained more.

Of course no one ever pays attention. She even gave her Tsuguko harsher training. They didn't like it.

"Kanao-chan, can we take a break?" Oikawa groaned as he fell to the floor after sparring with her. Kanao stared down at him.

"No. If we keep taking breaks, you won't become stronger and you'll die. Only the strong survive." She stated. Oikawa looked down. "I know we're weak compared to you, but you don't have to be harsh." Oikawa stated. "You act just like them." He stated as his bangs shadowed his eyes.

He got up and walked away. "I won't be at training starting today." He stated.

'Kanao... Why have you changed? Or were you always like this?' He questioned.

Atsumu looked at her.

He stared at where Oikawa left.

'How can they just leave like that?! I may have known her less than them, but why do I feel like I know her more than them? They do know she's traumatized of being left alone and losing everyone she's ever cared about?! Did they forget she saved them????' Atsumu questioned.

'If Kanao is acting like this, then the war is soon. How dumb can they be???' He thought as he looked at Kanao.

"Kanao, can we continue training?" He asked.

"Yes..."

Oikawa and Hinata sat together with the others who knew of Kanao's identity.

"Hey, why aren't you eating with Kanao today?" Karma asked.

Oikawa pouted. "Shes being too harsh on training and said only the strong survive." Oikawa said. Of course he was mad. The Demon who killed his late parents said the same thing.

"Yeah, she won't let me hang out with the new kids either." Hinata said. Karma just chuckled. Though it was more of a facade.

Rio and Nagisa looked worried.

"Now that's the Kanao we miss. Little Miss Perfect we used to call her. The one who was cold to everyone. The one who was strong and smart. The one who didn't care for anyone. And the one who wanted to die more than anything." Karma said.

"Die more than anything?"

I've been kinda busy recently with studying, but I've decided to make a schedule for me to organize all the stuff I will do, I'm also including my Fanfics!
