uh so for those of you wondering what happened with me and my crush (I doubt anyone was) heres what happened

after a period we had together

me: hey r can i talk to you

r: yeah whats up

me: uh one sec im waiting for people to leave (big mistake this sounds like a hugeeeee red flag)

r: 

me: unless youd rather go to class

r: no what is it

me: sooo you probably already know this but i DO like you...

r: oh... im sorry i only like you as a friend...

me: oh- ok

r: we can still be friends tho right?

me: yeah of course

r: i really am sorry

me: its chill

time skip; a few weeks later; its the end of the school day

Me and L (one of my guy friends): *play fighting*

*For context, L and I had arm wrestled during lunch and i beat him, and he said "well that was arm wrestling. if it were an actual fight i would beat your ass". needless to say we all made fun of him for that XD*

R: *comes up behind us with another guy, C*

Me and L: *still fighting*

R: *pokes my shoulders and back* (not in a creepy or weird way i promise)

Me: *turns around and starts laughing a little* Hi...

OK BUT LIKE IF HE DOESN'T LIKE ME WHY DOES HE KEEP FLIRTING WITH ME??

oh and get this:
R's girl bsf, the one who told me stuff that he said abt me (like how he liked me)

so basically she called him my bf and told her not to and told her that i confessed and she said exactly this:

"oh i knew that he only liked you as a friend the whole time"
