Dear Diary,

We are officially done with the move! We decided on a three stories penthouse in South Harlem, with a direct view over central park. We were planning for a simple downtown apartment at first but then realized that with two magical kids, it would be better to make sure we had privacy.

What won the house over to us is the fact that it is at the top of the building, with a roof terrasse, and thanks to my contact, an old buddy from back in the Leg that has recycled himself into a real estate agent, already warded to the brim by the Goblins of Gringott's New-York branch.

On the lowest floor of the penthouse resides Ron's room, our sparring room (which is also a gym) and Mione's research lab, which we were all told to stay away from with a withering glare.

The middle floor has the entrance, which is through our private elevator, the kitchen, dining room, living room and our 'small' library, which Hermione already has plans to have a magical additional room. (I know better than to argue on that, especially that her box of books take a lot of place in the sparring room at the moment)

The top floor contains Delphini and Teddy's rooms, the spare bedroom and the masters' suite. If Mione ever told me that she knows that I'm planning on adding a magical room for an armoury, I would have to plead guilty.

Then there's the roof, which is a magically protected and controlled environment that'll allow us to eat outside most of the time. And enjoy the pool too, something that earned us the first smile, however small it was, from Delphini ever, so I count that as a win.

We're now considering our next moves. I recently contacted Lamark (my ICW handler, which I just noticed I never spoke the name of to you) and he said that he might have something very interesting to offer me in a few days, so I'm waiting on that front. Ron has decided that he would become my partner on ICW jobs and is planning on going to the HQ tomorrow to fill out an application form.

Hermione apparently found something to occupy herself and has assured me that she would be occupied plenty during the day, so I guess that's that. As for the kids, it becomes a little more tricky than simply enrolling them in schools.

We discovered that there is a version of the mundane's middle school here in America, but neither Teddy nor Delphini ever went to school. Andromeda did teach the basics to her grandson, but I know that he'll be chewed out if he went as he is, and Delphini, having spent all her young life being worshiped by fanatics, have received no education at all.

Once again, however, a contact of mine, this time from my time in the ICW, have found me the solution. His wife just recently obtained her diploma as a middle school teacher but hasn't been able to find work until the start of September.

Even though it turned out to be a no-brainer, Hermione and I talked it over and hired Maria Leeds full-time to catch up with both of the kids, if possible, to attend their final year of middle school and possibly enter Illvermory in 2010.

Seem things are looking up!

Later,

Harry
