Athena's POV:

No sleep. The whole flight I had the back of my seat being kicked by the most annoying child I've ever seen.

As soon as the plane landed and the seat belt light went off, I rushed up and grabbed my bag.

"Are we catching a cab?" I say as we make our way to get the rest of our bags.

"No. Do you remember Jane Parker?" Mom says while looking ahead.

"Yes mom. That's my ex boyfriends mom. Why?" I couldn't help the annoyed tone that was laced through my voice.

"Well she found out we were back so she wanted to pick us up. Don't worry she didn't tell him you was back. We both agree that when you're ready you could tell him."

That's why I loved my mom. She never wanted me uncomfortable. She always had my back.

Without much word, we got our bags and went outside trying to find Jane. Didn't take long as I noticed a gorgeous woman with brown and grey hair waving at us. She was as perfect as I remembered. Her wrinkles laid beautifully upon her face.

I didn't even realize I wasn't moving until mom shouted my name and I looked up. She was already far ahead hugging Jane. Well shit. I need to hurry up.

I slowed my pace the closer I got to her. She looked so much like Ashton that it hurt.

"Wow you are so beautiful. You've grown so much!" Jane said while pulling me in for a hug.

"Thank you." Is all I could manage to let out as she squeezed the air out of me.

Giggling, she pulled away and started towards her car.

"Come on! Let's go unpack your house!" She says excitedly as she helped grab our bags and putting them in the back.

It took us an hour to get to our new house. And boy was it beautiful.

Their house:

Was it huge? Yes

Was it huge? Yes. Did we need such a big place for just us? No. But I knew mom. She loved luxury. And having money was a plus.

Grabbing my bags I ran in and ran upstairs to choose my room. And much to my moms pleads, I got the second to largest room.

This is kind of how I pictured her room:
