Steps to Fight Plagiarism

Introduction

When my work Love Unrushed! was plagiarised by Novelhfld and Teenfic, all that I felt was numb and shaken.

For the next two days, my lost, confused and heartbroken self did nothing but researched about this issue. 

However, if there was anything I was sure about, then it was never stopping to write and never discontinuing my book because of a few moronic sites and a rew spineless people blatantly copying my work.

Times like these demotivates and discourages us and our minds go all clueless and lost, suffering from the same pain and with the same confusion.

And in situations like these, the only question that would linger our minds would be,

What next?

What to do?

How to do?

What will work? What not?

I was at the same place when Love Unrushed! was copied, hence, all the steps that I took to safeguard my book, I used to keep adding it in that book itself so as to keep my readers updated about the issue.

However, a lot of my author friends suggested me to publish a separate book on the same issue, covering all the steps I took for the safety of my work so that it becomes a little easier for the authors to get direction about their next steps.

Hence, in the next update I am going to share all the steps I have taken till now to protect Love Unrushed!

Though, novelhd has not taken down my work but it is not plagiarising my latest updates anymore.

And for teenfic, then by God's grace, it has taken down my book from their site after the steps I took.

Hence said, through this book I want to spread a little awareness and provide all the struggling authors a little direction regarding what steps they could take to keep their works safe from the evil clutches of websites like novelhd, teenfic etc.

I hope my little effort would be a help to you all.

Let's fight this battle together and let's not erase our existence by giving them the power to crumble our spirits.
