Ah spring! Some call it the season of love, depending how what their relationship status is, and some just ignore the love that seems to simmer in the air. It's much harder to ignore that fact in Japan especially, as most the flowers bloom. In some places, you would swear it's a scene in a popular romance movie (and you'd probably be right). Yet despite the happiness and cheerful attitude that seems to follow the season around, OC wasn't a fan of it. Why? Well they had the pleasure (/s) of being cursed with the Hanahahki Disease. The only people who knew were their immediate family and the doctors that helped them the last time they fell in love.
See OC wasn't great at relationships, they had terrible luck with them actually. Before this curse started ruining crushes, of course. But when it appeared around the age of 10/11, it quickly snipped out any crushes they might have had. OC never cared.. Until they almost died because they were deceived by a person they deeply loved. OC swore to never let anyone get close again and it was a success! That's when a wrench was thrown into the plans by the universe. About 4 years after the life-or-death scenario, OC met Crush. And boy was Crush determined to get close to them, despite OC's many efforts to build a wall between them. However, OC caved and became friends with them. Not close friends, just friends. All was fine and dandy, until after a training session with Crush when OC coughed while washing their hands and saw eerily familiar flower petals in the sink. Damn it. (Continue from here!)
