Ami followed Danny to his dorm, stopping at the door as he entered. He had turned and held the door as if she were right behind him.
"Aren't you comin' in?" Ami didn't know why she had stopped... she had been in his dorm before... sorta. Back at Elementry, the 'dorms' were like cabins, twelve to a room and a councelor. Pre's would all be in one room in the school. There was always some adult present... but now with the dorms, we had some security (the oldest teacher) and a dorm director (the newest teacher). That was it, but it was still scary. For adults to actual enter your dorm, they would need a warrant signed by the principal, a pile of hoops that no-one cared enough to jump through, but that didn't mean that they still couldn't get caught. There was a strict boy/girl only rule (for obvious reasons), but really, she hadn't given it much thought. Should she? No. Could she? Well, yeah, it's not rocket science.
"Ami?" but would she...?
"Yeah, thanks for holding the door." She walked in, hoping not to be seen.

Ria, Sara, and Jammin', after waving a 'later' to Ami and Danny, headed for the pool.
"Hey, did you guys see that?" Jammin' asked the girls,
"See what?" Ria responded, confused.
"Danny's finally gonna do it!" Jammin',
"Do what?" Sara looked at Jammin',
"IT? Or 'it' as in ask Ami out?" Ria asked non chalantly,
"As in ask her out. He wanted to ask her at grad last year, but, hey, he's spineless! And by the way, like I said, he's spineless! He couldn't do IT even if he wanted to! Ha!" Jammin' laughed away lightheartedly,
"Benjamin!" Sara whacked him with her beach bag, really hard,
"Dude! OUCH! That hurt! And hey, calm down! You both know it. He's been silly over her since even before I met them. It's about time!" boys, the girls looked at each other before reaching the pool houses.
"Meet me at the deep end! Ria will be in the pool room practicing." Sara said,
"Kay, see ya there."

The boys dorm was a mirror of the girls, main doors centered into the wall lead into a lounge full of comfy chairs. The dorm director and security offices lay to the left, first floor bathroom and shower room to the right. Dining hall was also to the right as well as a connected garden. There was one staircase to the second floor located near the dining hall as well as one to the far far left for emergencies. The elevator and janitors closets lived near the right stairwell. The rest of the space was long narrow dorms with enough room for a small coat closet, two bunk beds, a dresser, a mirror and barely enough left for 4 teens to live.
Danny lived on the second floor with a window facing the vast forest and small bits of the town to his farthest left. She knew because he had told her of the church spire and a small greenhouse on the town's only apartment building. Right now, they had to focus on sneaking up there. They walked to the stairwell and started their way up.
"Who've you got for security?" Ami asked as they tip toed,
"Mr. Blackbourne." Danny breathed
"Do you mean that old dude who teaches math, has Vulcan hearing, and still raps knuckles with his ruler?" Ami's attention snapped up.
"Yeah." He sighed shakily.
"Fuck." Ami's eyes widened. This was more dangerous than she thought. Fear surged through her like water in a broken dam. What if He...
