the amazing Spider-Deku

The beginning

So this is the first-ever story I have written. I always thought this was a cool storyline and wanted to write one myself. I wrote it a while ago and haven't come back to it. If you like it and want me to continue please tell me and any and all advice/criticisms/comments are appreciated as long as they are not too mean. Please enjoy.

Izuku (Deku) Midoriya. Izuku was born in a world where 80% of the world's population is born with a special ability called quirks. While 80% of the population have quirks the new generation, Deku is born in, consists of 98% of the people having quirks. With everyone starting to have quirks a new profession arose, heroes. When Izuku was born he looked up to heroes and wanted nothing more than to be a hero like his idol, All Might. Izuku grew up with his best friends Katsuki Bakugo, or as Izuku called him, kacchan. They both idolized heroes and vowed that they would become the #1 hero and get into a U.A the #1 hero school in the world. Both children couldn't wait until their quirk manifested, but everything went straight to hell for Izuku when he visited the doctor at the age of 4

"Quirkless" this word echoed throughout Izuku's head when the doctor was talking to him. He couldn't hear anything else he said but still, tears started running down his face in despair and disbelief. A part of him wanted to laugh and take it as a joke but one look at his mom and he knew that this wasn't a joke. Izuku stayed silent the whole trip home vaguely remembering something about a double joint in his pinky but mostly forgetting what the doctor said.

Izuku went home and sat at the computer watching a video of AllMight saying anyone can be a hero. "M-m-om. I c-can sti-il be a hero right?" Izuku looked into the eyes of his mother with a mix of sadness and hope.

I needed something from my mom. I needed her to believe in me, to reassure me that I can still be a hero. Anything. Anything would have been better than what happened

His mother looked at him with tears in her eyes and collapsed to the ground. She went over to her crushed child and hugged and the only words that escaped through her tears were "I'm sorry Izuku. I'm so sorry"

11 years have passed and Izuku was in his last year of middle school. He still aspired to be a hero despite no one believing in him. Being a single mother struggling with a quirkless child, Inko Midoriya had gained weight due to stress and was now a short and plump woman prone to crying rivers. Izuku lives his life beaten and bullied for being quirkless with his main torturer being his ex-best friend Kacchan who started calling him Deku, meaning worthless person, and bullying after finding out he was quirkless.

Izuku's POV ~~~~~~~~

The teacher walked into the class and told everyone to calm down.

"Today we will be discussing your plans for high school... or we would be but you're all going to be HEROES" the teacher threw the papers in the air while everyone started cheering and using their quirks except a shy green-haired and an angry pomeranian guy.

"Oi teach don't rope me in with all these rejects there's only one hero here and that me. The rest of you would be lucky to even be a lesser heroes sidekick. I'm gonna be the #1 hero even greater than All Might." Kacchan said jumping up on his seat

"Yes very well Bakugou we all know you have a powerful quirk," yeah especially me "hmm it says here your applying to UA, that would make you the first student here to get into the #1 hero school." Everyone started cheering and yelling and Bakugou smirked sitting down in his seat. "Oh, it looks like Izuku Midoriya is also applying to UA."
