Windows shattered and her scarf still laid there as I read the letter. I'd always secretly come to Maria's room. She was always secretive. I didn't know until I did.
Father always said Mother had bewitched him. He'd fallen head over heels for her. "To love and like are to very different things Maria." still creeped in my mind.
After Maria's tragic death mother had disappeared. But she'd be back tomorrow. I've felt it something was wrong.
