"So, are we all clear on the plan?" Charlie asked as he looked around at the team.
"Yeah, we go in, kick some ass, and arrest some people." Peyton said, looking at Charlie.
"No, we storm in and arrest the fugitive. We only use force if necessary." Charlie corrected them as he made sure his gun was loaded.
"Yeah, yeah. I get it." Peyton said with an annoyed look on their face.
"That's enough blabbering we need to go and arrest him now." Eddie said before running out to go arrest the fugitive.
The team followed behind Eddie, running into the store.
"I'd stop there, if I was you." The fugitive said, holding a grenade.
"I have no clue how he got his hands on one of those, but its gonna be a problem." Nova said, dropping her gun and putting their hands out to surrender.
"Don't surrender, we can get out of this." Peyton said, elbowing Nova.
"Oh yeah? How do you figure we do that?" Nova asked, looking back at Peyton.
"Yeah. How do you figure you get out of this?" The fugitive asked as he stared Peyton in the eyes.
"We kick your ass, that's how!" Eddie said as he charged at the fugitive.
"One step closer, I drop this, and we all go up in pieces. Fun isn't it?" The fugitive said, making Eddie stop dead in his tracks.
"Shut up, Steve!" Peyton yelled at the fugitive.
"Well Diane, I'd prefer it if you were to shut up. Mhm I know your name too." Steve said with a big stupid grin on his face.
Peyton clinched their jaw, tightening their grip on their gun. Thana took a few steps forward, slowly.
"Stop there, you know the consequences if you don't." Steve said as he waved the grenade in the air
Thana didn't listen though. She moved closer to Steve and he pulled the pin on the grenade.
"Okay new plan." Charlie said as he lowered his gun.
"What's that?" Nova asked as she turned to charlie.
"Run!" Charlie said as he quickly turned around and ran towards the door, Nova right behind him.
"Oh, well that's no fun." Steve said before chunking the grenade at the team.
Thana ran towards Steve whilst the rest of the team ran out the door.
"Did we all make it out okay?" Charlie asked as he stopped running and turned around.
"Yeah I think so." Peyton said as they looked around at the rest of them.
"One, two, three, and four. Who are we missing?" Eddie said as he looked around, searching for the missing team member.
Nova looked around and then back at the store, which is now up in flames. "Thana didn't make it out."
