The suspense was killing Y/n as she waited among the other first years to hear the gun pop off. Y/n focused on steadying her breathing, and the gunshot. The first-year-olds began to run, and Y/n teleported to the front of the crowd so the attention would be on her. Y/n used the air aspect of her quirk to make her steps lighter. Shoto and Bakugo were gaining on her when a shadow started to loom over her figure: it was the Zero pointers that the school used in the entrance exam.
Y/n exhaled and teleported, and when she was in her warp, she shot lightning at the robot, causing it to fry and fall apart. As soon as she exited her warp, she continued to run, hearing Bakugo's loud explosions approaching her.
"Damn you, crystal bitch," Bakugo yelled, gaining on her, he was using his explosions to get close to Y/n, so Y/n decided to make an ice wall that he slammed face-first into.
Y/n laughed as she heard the boy yell louder, angry at her trick.
"That's what he gets," Y/n thought to herself. He overheard Mina and her talking about crystals and hasn't let it go since.Y/n wrapped vines around a couple of robots and used the air to propel herself and keep her afloat to cover the rest of the field where the robots were.
Shoto managed to catch up to her and high-fived her.
"I saw what you did to Bakugo, it was funny," he said, snickering.
"Thank you," Y/n giggled, then rolled her eyes when she heard Bakugo yelling.
"I'm going to blast you to hell, Y/n," Bakugo yelled.
"The three have approached the fall, which can only be passed on ropes," Present Mic announced over the intercom.
Shoto began to make an Ice bridge and Y/n teleported to the other side.
"Unless you're Todoroki and Y/n I guess." Present Mic exclaimed.
Then the two of you approach a naked field. Y/n shot a small vine at the ground, and it exploded. She rolled her eyes and teleported across the field again. Shoto sighed and glided across on his ice again. Bakugo launched himself over the field using explosions, landed on Shoto, and began to attack him. Y/n kept running until they noticed what she was doing.
"Looks Like Midoriya has a plan," Present Mic said.
A loud explosion was heard, and Midoriya landed in front of the three and took off running. Y/n teleported until she caught up with him and passed the finish line. Midoriya in first, Y/n in second, and Shoto and Bakugo tied.
"Congratulations Izuku," Y/n said," That was smart of you."
"Thank you," Izuku said smiling," but I have a question. Why didn't you teleport to the finish line when the race started so you could get first place."
