Jordan and baylee black's backstory is kinda messy. When Jordan was 8 and her sister was 7 her mom went missing and she hasn't been found since so the case went cold but her dad never gave up. He went into a deep depression and started drinking a lot and he got fired from his job. After that happened he turned his life around and started looking for a job. What he didn't tell the black sisters was that he was looking for jobs in Boston Massachusetts. He had a job interview over the phone and ended getting the job. He was excited to get the job but nervous because he didn't know how to the girls after thinking about it he decided to go rip the band-aid off after he told them he heard Jordan get excited because she was tired of los Angeles but baylee on the other hand was crying because she doesn't want to leave her friends but after awhile she started thinking about it and was happy for her dad. The next week they packed up all their stuff and moved to Boston. They were excited to see the house and when they got there they fell in love with it The house:
