1. When Ross repeatedly made so much fun of his ex wife and her lesbian partner
In the first episode of the show, Ross finds out that his wife of 9 years is a lesbian. As devastating as that may be for Ross, throughout the first 3 seasons Ross makes passive aggressive homophobic slurs about Carol and Susan which would not go down well in this day and age.

2. When Ross and Rachel were on a break
Were they on a break? Were they not? Arguably, she suggested it and he never actually agreed to it as he walked out the door without saying a word. Regardless, whether you thought you were on a break or not does not mean you should jump into bed with someone only hours later.

3. Ross having problems with the male nanny
Freddy Price Jr makes a cameo in season 9 where he appears as the male nanny. Although by far the best candidate (the only other one up for the job was a female nanny saying she needed 48 hours notice if she was to be drug tested), Ross had a real problem with him simply because he was male and "it was weird!". With the help of Joey he explained that having a male nanny is like a female wanting to be a penis model. You can't really discriminate genders from certain workforces. In the end, Ross fired him but if that was in today's world, you could probably take that to court.

4. When Ross assumed that he had to marry Rachel when he found out that she was pregnant
When Ross found out that Rachel was pregnant he assumed that they were going to get married first, and in Ross' defence so did Rachel's father but his character was openly a dick. The reason for this being that he didn't think Rachel could do this on her own, and that the child needed parents who were married, regardless of whether they loved each other or not. The fact Ross insisted they get married because Rachel was incapable of raising a child on her own was pretty insulting.
