Emily sat in her living room with her four best friends, Kendall, Alex, Mari, and Carter. They needed to decide which new music video to do a parody of. There were so many to chose from! Locked Out of Heaven by Bruno Mars, Die Young by Ke$ha, or the ever-popular Kiss You by One Direction.
"Guys, I vote Kiss You. We can get all the Directioners to watch our cover because it includes One Direction. YouTube is mostly made up of teen girls who love One Direction, so we're sure to get a lot of hits!" Mari exclaimed triumphantly. She was the logical thinker of the group.
"I'm not sure... So many people do parodies of One Direction on YouTube. Do you really think that ours will get noticed?" Carter asked. Everyone thought about the two points that were just made.
"What do you think Em? This entire thing was your idea. You should get the final say." Alex said.
"Alright, I think we should do it. We could all pretend to be the girl versions of the boys in the cover! Oh! And we could take the scenes they did in the actual video and recreate them!" Emily exclaimed excitedly.
"That is such an amazing idea! Oh gosh I'm so excited!" Kendall gushed.
"We should probably get to work on writing everything out so we can film next week." Mari suggested.
"Sounds good. Alex, you're in charge of costumes. Mari, you're in charge of finding us a studio to shoot in. Carter and Kendall, you guys are gonna help me plan the video." Emily directed.
Everyone exchanged a look and quickly ran off to do their jobs.
*One Week Later*
Emily twirled around her dressing room wearing the first outfit of the shoot. It was a navy blue sailor dress with white trim. She couldn't wait to start filming. This video was going to be her best one yet. Emily had never done a parody of One Direction before, but once their Kiss You video came out, she couldn't resist.
"Em! Come on! We need to get on the tropical set!" Kendall yelled.
"Coming Kendall!" Emily called out. She grabbed her phone and left the dressing room, only to come face to face with her four friends, Kendall, Mari, Alex, and Carter.
"Lets go girlie! We need to be out of here in three hours!" Alex scolded.
"Alright, alright. Lets go." Emily said.
The five of them walked to the set and greeted their cameraman.
"Hey Ron. How's it hanging?" Carter asked.
"Same as alway Car. Life's good." Ron smiled. "Places everyone!"
There was anarchy as everyone shuffled into their places for the first scene. The lights dimmed and five spotlights were aimed at the girls. Silence filled the studio.
"Kiss You YouTube Parody, take one, ACTION!"
The opening music began to play and the girls began to dance and twirl around the beach set.
"Oh I just wanna take you anywhere that you like. We can go out any day any night. Baby I'll take you there take you there. Baby I'll take you there!" Kendall sang.
"Oh tell me tell me tell me how to turn your love on. You can get get anything that you want. Baby just shout it out shout it out. Baby just shout it out!" Emily crooned.
"And if you, you want me to. Let's make a move!" Carter sang.
"So tell me boy if every time we--" Emily started.
"Touch! You get this kinda rush. Let me say yea a yeah a yeah yeah a yeah! If you don't wanna take this slow. If you just wanna take me home. Let me say yeah a yeah a yeah yeah a yeah! And let me kiss you!" They sang in unison.
"That's a wrap ladies! Nice work! This has gotta be your best parody yet!" Ron congratulated them after they finished singing.
Emily beamed. "Thanks Ron!"
"Yea seriously, thanks so much!" Mari said.
"I agree though. This parody has to be our best one yet! The costumes were hot, the scenery was amazing, and the vocals were brilliant!" Carter added.
"Group hug?" Emily suggested.
"Obviously!" Alex yelled as she enveloped her four friends in a huge bear hug.
They were all so proud of themselves for this parody. It was sure to stand out on YouTube. Little did they know that this one video would lead to their big break...
*Two weeks later*
It had been two weeks since the parody was shot and posted on YouTube. Their video had currently reached three million views and the five friends were ecstatic! They had never dreamed that the parody would hit one million views, let alone three million! It was getting bigger and bigger everyday.
Meanwhile in Los Angeles, California, Perez Hilton was sitting at his desk in his swanky office. He was browsing through his website, making changes and blogging new articles, when his inbox dinged. It was an email from his best friend and Internet researcher, Ted. He opened the email and read it.
"Yo Perez! I was just trolling on YouTube and I found this parody of that One Direction music video, Kiss You. You gotta check it out man! It's freaking hilarious! -Ted"
The email caught Perez's attention. He clicked on the link and Emily's video popped up. Perez watched the entire thing, completely fascinated by it. Struck by a thought of brilliance, he opened up to his website and started a new article.
"Lady Direction Wants to Kiss You! While looking through YouTube, I found this rather entertaining parody of the ever-popular music video, Kiss You, by One Direction. In this video, five sassy ladies play each of the 1D hunks and sing the number one hit. The link is below. And to the ladies in the music vid: keep on doing what you do! Because if your next parody is anything like this one, we are in for a treat!"
Satisfied with his work, Perez posted the article, closed his laptop, and waited to make five girls famous.

A/N: I have a really great idea for the next chapter, but the problem is I hate writing a story that no one reads! So here's your challenge: recommend this book to your Directioner friends! I want at least 50 reads before I post the next chapter. Please? Haha and if you vote/comment, you would pretty much make my day! Thanks babes! P.S.: What should I start calling my fans? I have no idea. If you have a good idea for me, feel free to let me know! Lol thanks everyone! And Happy Valentine's (Single Awareness) Day!
