Chapter 12

You agreed about not seeing your patients for awhile, although you were still uneasy about your decision. Hongjoong seemed to be satisfied with your answer and promised that he'll do his best to have the boys behave for you.

Days have passed, after taking care of the patients in ward A ( which Hongjoong assigned you to do so you would still be busy ), you decided to take a walk around the hospital.

"You sure that you don't want to come with us to eat, (Y/n)? I'll pay for today."
Jennie said and you smiled.

"I'll pass, I had too much bread for breakfast so I'm not that hungry. Thanks for the invitation though, see you guys later!"

After your walk, you were about to get coffee in the hospital's vending machine when you saw Yanan standing outside the gate of ward E walking back and forth, panic evident in his face. Out of curiosity, you decided to approach him.

"Hey, yanan!"
The guard turned his head to face you, relief appearing in his eyes.

"Dr.(Y/n), I badly need your help. The psycho brothers broke their chains and Dr.Hongjoong is inside with his nurses. I managed to lock the gates but I'm afraid of what those crazy people would do to them. You're my only hope, (Y/n)."

"But i—"

"Please help me handle them, maybe you can calm them down. I know they will listen to you, you are their precious doctor after all."
Yanan looked at you with desperate eyes and you could do nothing but to give him a nod. Your brother and his companions are inside and the fact that the boys are pretty violent with people that is not you, there's a big chance that something bad had happened.

Yanan quickly opened the gates of ward E. You immediately went inside and run to the rooms where the psycho brothers are usually placed when there are check ups. You opened the door, expecting a chaotic scene but instead, the silence engulfed the whole ward. You looked around the room, confused.

'Is Yanan playing a prank to me?'

You are about to leave when suddenly, a hard object hit your head with full force, making you fall in the floor with blood flowing out from the back of your head.

"I'm sorry and I love you, Nana."

Was the last words you heard before your eyes closed, falling deep into the darkness.
