Annoyance, anger and confusion passed between a boy and girl as they sat across from each other in at a library table, bickering like children and blaming the other for as the reason why they were in the mess they were in now. "Well, I wasn't the idiot who stole that chick's phone!" "Maybe if you didn't think the phone was yours you wouldn't have taken it! They don't even have a similar case whatsoever!!!"

The girl's brown eyes flickered over to the phone resting on the table, a cracked, white Samsung Galaxy phone that had a red, sparkly case covering the back, not in the least able to protect that phone from damage caused by dropping it, "It was as big as my stupid phone, how I was supposed to know it wasn't it at all!?!"

"You could've at least looked!! Sam, she might have even seen you when you ran off, just go back and give the phone to her before she calls the cops or something," The boy was extremely flustered as he spoke, waving his hands around like an ocotopus, worried for his friend and continuing on with his rant like a mother, "so please....don't be a thief like Gerald, and give it back."

Sam pondered on the idea, twirling her fiery red hair between her fingers in contemplation, pale skin and freckled cheeks pink with embarrassment and slight shame, "Hmm..you're right..but I could put it up for ransom-" "Sam, no, bad!! Don't make the situation worse." "But Kyllllleee-" "No buts!"

Kyle sighed and combed his fingers through his blonde hair, blue eyes watching Sam cautiously, "If you don't give it back, we can't be best friends fo lyfe anymore."

Sam was taken aback, surprise etched in her features, "How dare you! I thought were were blood brother..sister things, whatever it is!"

"And we will be still, if you return the phone." "Fine...you're such a jerk!"

Sam stood up and pushed her chair in, then smoothed out her bright blue tank top like as if it was ruffled up fur and fixed her shorts, then grabbed the phone and stomped out, making her way back to the patio in front of the cafeteria, grumbling insults toward Kyle that are in no way appropriate for those under the age of 18.

"Ugh...she can be such a child sometime. Damn it, she stole my phone too!! Sam, get back here!!!!" Kyle ran out after the ginger girl, cursing and tripping over people as he hurried past like a lion chasing down his prey. Sam's laughter carried through the hallways and echoed throughout the school, just another reminder that friendship can be extremely bothersome and annoying, but rewarding with laughter and companionship.
