(If you are reading this I thank you so much :D)

It was Wednesday, instead of being lazy and slouching on the couch I decided to go on a trek. After chasing through the quiet (typically Scottish) village I skipped through lush fields of green grass. Then stumbled into the dark and dense forest. The trees parted above me showing just enough light to see by. I walked on and came to a clearing. Here Scottish mist hung like a sunken cloud, low and heavy, above the mystic, silver lochan. It was cold. I clung to my woollen scarf that my mother had given me before she died, and thought about my long lost family. All of a sudden I felt I was being watched; I spun round to see a cold puff of night air come from behind me. I ran... With my throat dry my mouth- filled with nerves, I sped at a speed that I had never run at before through the forest into the unknown. I took deep breaths of oxygen as my heart pound ever faster; my eyes began to water as the cold night air filled them with tears. I couldn't run much further; I held my scarf for dear life and ran into the distance beyond the trees. it was harsh, like running through treacle, as my thighs began to tense up. Taking in air was worse- my lungs burning aching with pain. I had to stop... My tongue dry like sandpaper(after the run) and my head a bag of nerves(what is behind me)? I turned around. There wasn't a monster or a man with a gun but what was that.?. (How was that hope that you enjoyed it please comment and vote Fx :)
