Chapter 1

Emilia's P.O.V

I couldn't move. I fell to my knees and saw the man from the other car jumping out and ringing someone.

I slowly stood up and made my way towards him.

Black dots started appearing in front of me and my legs became weaker with every step.

"Emilia" i heard Caspar shout before it all went black.

Emilia's P.O.V

"I cant believe it" i heard a deep voice say.

"Me either. Who does she have left. Whats going to happen to her?" I have a female voice

"I dont know zoe. She has no one left" wait. Zoe?!

"Im going to get a drink caspar do you want anything" zoe asked and i heard a door open

"Im fine thanks" who im assuming caspar replied.

I heard the door shut and caspar take my hand.

"Please wake up emilia. It hurts seeing you like this" he said

I tried opening my eyes but they just wouldn't open.

"If you can hear me squeeze my hand" he said. Squeeze.

"Oh my gosh em. I knew you could hear me. Now please open your eyes" he said as i tried opening my eyes

"Come on em you can do it" he said squeezing my hand as my eyes shot open.

"What happened" i asked sitting up in a hospital

"Your parents..." He trailed off

All the memories came flooding back. All the blood and shattered glass.

"Are they okay? What happened?" I said in a panic

"Em im sorry but they didn't make it" his eyes started watering as he leant in to give me a hug.

"This has to be a dream" i whispered clinging on to caspar for life

"Im afraid its not babe." He rubbed my back

"I have" hiccup "no one" hiccup "left" hiccup

"You have me. Im not going anywhere" he said smiling slightly

I didn't say anything i just sat there crying.

"Why am i in the hospital"

"You fainted"

"Oh" he said

It was silent apart from the occasional hiccup or sniffle from me.

I heard a nock on the door and my head shot up.

"Come in zoe" and in walked zoe. Shes my role model shes such an amazing person.

"Oh my gosh your awake. Im so sorry for what happened" she shot out coming over to give me a hug.

"Its fine" i whispered

"What am i going to do now" i asked

"What do you mean" caspar asked

"Where am i going to live? Im too young to live by myself."

"You can come and live with me" caspar said

"No i don't want to invade"

"You wont trust me" he smiled at me

"But dont you have a roomate?" I asked

"Yes but he wont mind trust me" caspar said

"I dont know. Ill feel bad" i said

"Trust me he wont say anything and if he does he'll get this" she said slamming her fist into her hand

I have to admit that made me smile

"Okay ill do it" i said

"Thats great! Let me just get a nurse to check you out" caspar said leaving me with zoe

"I like your dress" zoe told me pointing to my black dress

"Thanks your my role model" i told her blushing

"Aww thanks that means a lot" she said as the door handle started to move

In came caspar with a young looking nurse

"Ok emilia beckham" i cringed when she said my full name

"I just need you to sign this then you are free to leave" she said handing me a sheet of paper

I signed it then gave it back to the nurse

"You are free to leave when you are ready" she smiled at me and walked out the door.

"Finally lets go" i said standing up and heading towards the door

Zoe and caspar escorted me to zoes car where i hopped in and thought about meeting the you tuber crew

"Are you sure joe wont mind" i asked nervous

"Yes now where is your house again. I forgot" caspar asked

I told him the directions and within a few minutes we were there.

I opened the door and walked into the living room with them following

"Whats happening to the house" i asked

"Your mother wrote in her will for her brother to have it. She also left some money for you and said whatevers in the house you can have." Caspar said

"Okay. Ill be down in a minute" i said walking towards the stairs.

I walked into my room and grabbed a suitcase from my cupboard

I packed all my belongings and crept up to my moms door.

I opened the door and inhaled the scent of her purfume. I walked along the room towards her jewelry box and took her charm her mother gave her for good luck.

I slipped it into my pocket and headed towards the door.

I closed the door and wiped the tear making its way down my face.

I dragged my suitcases downstairs and saw zoe and caspar in the same place i left them.

"Ready to go?" I asked wanting to leave before i have a breakdown

"Yes" caspar said taking hold of my suitcases and walking out the door with zoe following.

I looked around the house one last time before walking out and locking the door behind me.

"Ill be strong " i whispered and headed towards the car.
