The spark within

His saving grace

*Beep beep*

A buzzing alarm was the first thing the purple haired male heard as he woke up. The sun blasted on his face and he sat up with a yawn. It was finally Saturday. Shinsou, a young hero with a promising reputation would be making the biggest bust of his hero career. The male had been a pro hero for a little over 6 months now and Aizawa  was to thank for that. Aizawa helped train him to be the best hero he could be and now that he was the number 2 hero, he showed that he had been putting all of that training to good use. The male stretched out his arms and then ran his hand through his hair. over the years he's been letting his hair grow out and it finally reached a length to where he could put it up and put it down as he pleases.  

Shinsou then removes the covers off of his legs and stands up. he yawns once more and makes his way over to the closet where he kept his clothes, including his hero costume. He took out the costume and the mask that he wore along with it and took them into the bathroom with him. since the binding scarf was already there, he didn't need to worry about grabbing that.  Once he reached the bathroom, he laid his clothes on the sink and took a look in the mirror. The bags under his eyes were proof of the lack of sleep he's been getting recently. He has been completely focused on getting the proper information for making this big drug bust. 

"You've got this Shinsou. you've prepared well and did what you could. don't fuck things up"

He said to himself as he stripped off his clothes and made his way over to the shower. He turned on the water and let the warm water trickle down his skin. The sensation immediately relaxed him but at the same time it made him feel more awake and alert. he showered for a good 15 minutes and then turned the water off. He stepped out and dried off every crevice of his body. From all the training he had done, he had gotten quite built. He had  robust abs ad a chiseled face. His once weak arms were now strong and built. Even his voice was better than before. Shinsou built himself to be the better version of his once oblivious self. He became what others said he couldn't be. A hero.

After putting on his hero costume he decided to go to his favorite diner to get some breakfast. He had a little over an hour before he needed to make the bust so he had time to do a few things. His favorite diner was ran by an ex classmate. His name is Rikido Sato. His quirk requires him to eat sweets to increase his strength. Since he had gotten good at cooking and baking, he opened a diner where he sold not only sweets but savory foods as well. Shinsou grabbed his car keys and set out in the Journey to diner. Luckily for him he knew not many people would be there at the moment and he didn't have to deal with civilians asking for pictures and autographs. 

The purple haired male drummed his fingers along the steering wheel as he drove to the restaurant. In all honesty, The male was starting to feel a bit nervous about what he needed to do today. he knew that he prepared well but he was still scared that he would so something to mess the whole operation up. He knew that thinking negatively would get him nowhere though so as quickly as those doubts came in, they left just as fast. He needed to be positive and believe in himself. He wanted to believe that he had the talent and capability to do what he needed to do in a timely and efficient manner. after a few minutes of driving, he finally reached his destination. He got out and locked his sleek black Tesla behind him as walked towards the double doors of the building. Upon entering he immediately saw his former classmate and he greeted him. 

"Hey there Sato. how's it going this morning?" He asked as he walked up to the register and placed one arm on top of it. Sato looked up from his phone and a smile tugged at the edge of his lips. He walked over to shinsou and put him in a playful headlock.
