✬ 27. Upgrading Freddy one final time..

Hiya! Im sorry for not updating in a long time. I will try to keep on updating this book until I feel it's completed. :)

Now onto the chapter!:

[Y/N] made their way down to the underground's of the building, making sure to avoid a blind Roxanne, A legless monty, and a still normal Chica. Well if you call eating garbage normal. The stage took them down into the underground's and thankfully due to all the map bots they knew were they were going. They sighed and started their way to the med tent.

They peeked their head inside to see Freddy and Gregory sitting near a wall chatting. Gregory's knee had a wrap around it. They let their presence be known when they stepped into the room. Both boys turned to them and were relieved it was just them. They smiled at them and the latter smiled back. Freddy and [Y/N] helped Gregory sit up. "We need to get Freddy to parts and service." They spoke up, cutting through the silence.

Freddy was confused but [Y/N] knew if they told him what happened he would be highly upset. Gregory had instantly knew what they met when they said this and gave [Y/N] a cheerful smile in a way to say, 'I knew you could do it'. So the three made their way to parts and service to upgrade Freddy one final time. It was much harder to avoid the other animatronics excluding Roxanne with Gregory leaning on them but they still managed to keep everyone safe.

The trio made it down to parts and services and Freddy had let himself into the protective cylinder, laying on the table with his arms to his sides. "Gregory, I need you to sit this one out." [Y/N] instructed. Gregory chose not to argue with them and swallowed a bit of his pride before nodding his head. Gregory sat outside the protective cylinder while [Y/N] used the computer to select the ocular upgrade.

They then entered the cylinder after being given the 'go ahead' by the announcer. "Let's begin by removing Freddy's face. Press Freddy's nose to remove skull housing." The announcer instructed and [Y/N] did as it said. For they knew if they messed up, Freddy would kill them. That thought made them gulp, someone who they were friends with could also kill them. None the less they had to move forward with the upgrade.

"Carefully detach the ocular connectors." The announcer said next. It was time for the buttons. Red, yellow, green then the next pattern was, blue, yellow, blue, red, green. Then Freddy's eyes had been removed from their sockets. [Y/N] breathed a sigh of relief but it was not over yet. "Great! Plug the replacement eyes into the open eye sockets." [Y/N] turned toward their [bag, backpack, purse] and dug out Roxanne's eyes staring at them for only a moment before plugging one after another into Freddy's sockets.

"Well done, reattach the ocular connector wires." Red, green, green then blue, blue, yellow red, yellow. They followed the pattern like it was and thankfully Freddy didn't kill them. "It is time to close the face plate." The machine no minute later than the announcer said this put Freddy's face back on. He looked much less scary that way. "It is time for the testing phase." The announcer said with unusual joy.

[Y/N] groaned at this but none the less paid as close attention as they could. Yellow. Yellow, blue. Yellow, blue, blue. Yellow, blue, blue, blue. Yellow, blue, blue, blue, green. Yellow, blue, blue, blue, green, and red. The upgrade had went smoothly and Freddy should now have better vision. They stepped outside of the cylinder and clicked the, "finish procedure." Button. Freddy soon stepped out.

"How are your new eyes?" Gregory asked the bear. Freddy looked between both kids. "I am having a hard time adjusting. You look different to me. I can see movement through the walls." He replied. "Woah! I didn't know Roxy can see through walls!" Gregory said excitedly but soon cowardly back to where he was sitting after realizing he just gave away what [Y/N] did. They sent him a side glare.

"These are Roxy's eyes?!" Freddy asked in a panic and looked towards [Y/N]. They gulped harshly and scratched the back of their neck. "Well...yeah....There was an accident in the raceway." They told Freddy hesitatingly. "Is she okay?" He asked with genuine concern for his friend. [Y/N] felt a pang in her heart but nonetheless Freddy wanted an answer. "Well...Nothing seems to stop her." Gregory added.

"Guys good news! It is almost 6 o'clock. You will be safe now if you find an exit. But hurry! The Daycare attendant is loose one last time." Freddy informed the two. Suddenly the lights went out..
