Appearance: short- comes up to Mr. McGregor's waist height, light skin, long curly strawberry-blonde hair, blue eyes, wears a short-sleeved sky-blue dress with lace trimming and decorated with white polka-dots, brown ankle boots, white stockings, black Mary-Jane shoes (for formal occasions)
Backstory:
● Is visiting her grandfather, Mr. McGregor for the summer months.
● She wants someone to play with, but no other children live in the area.
● Sees Peter Rabbit and Friends raiding the garden, and, curious at hearing them talk, tries to go out and meet them, but scares them away.
● McGregor insists that the rabbits are mere pests, but Lucie refuses to believe him
● Sneaks out of the garden to look for the rabbits, bringing some of his vegetables along with her.
● Spots the rabbits being chased by Mr. Tod, and follows them into the woods.
● Finds the rabbits cornered by Tod, and scares the fox away by pretending to be Mr. McGregor.
● Earns the rabbits' trust with her vegetable offerings and joins them on their adventures.
● Works hard to earn the trust of the other animals of the lake district.
● Only ones still wary of Lucille are Peter's mother and older sisters, Flopsy and Mopsy, but Cottontail immediately likes her.
● The predators of the Lake District are especially frightened of her because of her relation to Mr. McGregor.
