Lestrade was cold, standing on the edge of a crime scene, watching Sherlock doing what he does. He ran around, looking at every little thing and detail. Lestrade could see him thinking.

Sherlock may have been enjoying himself but, Lestrade was annoyed and bored. This case was hard and it was very cold outside - it was the middle of October, they'd started the case near the beginning of September. Sherlock had been very eager and excited to work on this case and Lestrade had finally given in, letting him have a look.

"Done." Declared Sherlock, striding over to where Lestrade was standing.

"Got any ideas?" Asked Lestrade, fishing in his pockets for some keys.

"Yes, oh yes." Answered Sherlock, Lestrade could see him thinking and then his face changed completely.

"So...do you wanna come back to Scotland Yard and discuss it with the team?" Enquired Lestrade as he quickly climbed into the car, turning on the cars heating.

"No, back to Baker Street please, I have some things to think about." Replied Sherlock. He answered sort of flatly, as though he was annoyed or irritated.

Lestrade thought of carrying on the conversation but, he thought if he carried on talking then he would get angry or annoyed. He seemed irritated by the thought of sharing his ideas on the case.

It struck Greg as a little bit weird. Sherlock seemed happy to help in the case and was eager to do it in the first place.

He even seemed happy enough when he had looked at all of the clues. He was normally ready to show off his talents and his skills to the police force. He often liked to demonstrate just how good he was. Then, all of a sudden he refused to talk about it.

Sherlock had been a bit weird since the last cases. It came to Lestrade's attention that he had had a meeting with the mysterious man at a swimming pool. After that he had been acting weird when it came to cases.

Lestrade pulled into Baker Street and practically as soon as he stopped the car, Sherlock jumped out saying goodbye and then running into 221b Baker Street.

Lestrade sat there in the car, running his hand through his hair. He didn't know what to do about the case but, he wanted to find out what Sherlock was up to.

He turned off the engine and got out. He was trying to be quiet as he shut the door. He went up to the door and tried it carefully. It opened, slowly. He thought Sherlock had forgotten to shut and lock the door properly and he was right. He snuck in carefully, leaving the door slightly open so he could get out later. He hoped that Mrs Hudson wouldn't ruin it for him, he could vaguely hear some humming from somewhere in the building, probably down the hall but, possibly closer. He snuck up the stairs on all fours, only pausing half way to think about how stupid he was. He was listening out and then he heard Sherlock talking on the phone.

"Was it you...really?...no, I didn't tell him anything about it...I just told you, I didn't say anything to him about it...no, I don't think he knows...yeah...sure...yeah...yeah sure...did you do it?...oh come on...Moriarty!"
