She was lucky to survive the fall at all; her life was saved only by her impulse to unfold her wing glider which she still lacked practice in using. Kokomi winced at the pain in her left leg; it seemed to be broken.
"A lapse in judgement..." she muttered regretfully as she summoned her bake-kurage. The jellyfish started working tirelessly to heal her wounds. With tears blurring her vision, she didn't notice the huge blue cube which had started moving a few meters in front of her. She was just about ready to crawl away when a dolphin made of water crashed right atop her head, sending her right back down to the floor.
Whatever this thing was, it did not appreciate her being there. It seemed to view her as an enemy.
After 2 hours of mercilessly attacking, however, its opinion of her changed. Her jellyfish and catalyst could do nothing to harm it, as it realized, and she'd long since given up on fighting back, instead opting to dodge as well as she could with a broken leg, and trying to keep herself alive with her healing magic. To kill such a harmless girl would leave even a sentient water cube with too much guilt to bear. When the cube backed down, she was relieved, but remained cautious.
She'd soon learn many things about the cube; for instance, it's a wonderful entertainer. To distract her from her pain, it gave her a cube-made dolphin show, then even started healing her itself. It was so inspiring that Kokomi mimicked it, and she managed to make a tiny little fish of water appear out of "fin" air. It didn't talk much, but that was fine for her; the quietness was quite peaceful, she found.
It was an exciting day, and she left the ordeal alive. As she made her way back to Bourou Village, she decided that she'd fall again the next day, albeit more gracefully.

Today I met He. I didn't know we had such creatures on Watatsumi. +4 Energy.
