Chapter 5: Meeting Freddy, Foxy, Bonnie and the DJ

You had managed to find the list of things Vanessa told you that you would find in the storage room and were now dressed in your new uniform. Your uniform was quite simple. It consisted of a black t-shirt with the Pizza-plex logo on it, cute denim blue overalls that also had the Pizza-plex logo and a pair of dark brown construction boots. You also had your tool belt strapped on, with your Faz-watch on your d/w and your new tablet in hand.

After admiring yourself for a few seconds in the changing rooms, you decided to finally start your job by heading to Rockstar Row. You walked out of the changing rooms and started to make your way there. While walking, you took in the aesthetic of the place. The neon lights lit up the establishment as it was too early for any actual lights to be turned on. It was quite a pretty scenery.

Finally, there it was. Right in front of you was Rockstar Row where the green rooms for the band members were. It was dark here, but not to the point where you couldn't see. The neon of the signs above each animatronic's room bounced off the walls and shone like night stars. The music playing in the background was so peaceful. You already liked it here.

The first room you walked by was Glamrock Chica's. You looked through her window and saw a white robotic chicken being worked on already. Wow, she has changed a lot. The second room belonged to Montgomery, or Monty, as Vanessa said. Sadly, his curtains were closed so you couldn't see what he looked like. Which confused you a little. After Monty's room was the room of the other female animatronic. You peered into the room and saw a grey animatronic wolf with white and green hair. She also had a mechanic tending to her. Now, it was time for Freddy's room. You walked up to it and looked into the green room to see a tall, orange animatronic bear sitting on a couch. This Freddy was so different to the one you cherished as a small child. It was quite amazing.

You just couldn't help but stare at the bear. You were lost in your own world when suddenly the movement of Freddy's head turning to you made you snap out of it. You shook your head then walked over to the door and knocked. "Come on in!" A nice, soft voice chimed. You headed into the green room, your attention immediately being drawn to Freddy. He smiled and stood up, making his way over to you. "You must be the new head mechanic and my personal mechanic."
"Yeah, I am! The name's Y/N." You smiled back at the animatronic.
"Well, it's nice to meet you." The bear spoke.
"Same here!"

After that fast greeting, the lead singer explained your duty to you simply and quickly. Honestly, it all sounded like a piece of cake. When Freddy's explanation was over, you started to get to work. You turned on the tablet and clicked onto the icon with Freddy's face. In the matter of seconds, the system was telling you what needed to be fixed. It seemed like nothing. Everything was in tip-top shape. "Well, Freddy, it seems like all is good! So I guess I'll just give you a quick wipe down, if that's alright with you." You asked, looking up at him.
"That is totally fine, Y/N." The bear replied.

You pulled a bottle of cleaner and a rag from your tool belt and got down on your knees as you decided that you would clean bottom to top. You quickly cleaned him, moving up until you could no longer reach anymore. That's when you had to nicely ask Freddy to take a seat so you could clean the rest of him and he complied. You got to work on cleaning from his shoulders upwards, avoiding his snout as you believed that would be a reasonable thing to leave last.

You sprayed some more cleaner on the rag and your hand began to make its way to the orange bear's snout. This action made him flinch and pull back a bit. "You good, dude?" You questioned.
"O-Oh, uhm.. yeah.! Just, be careful of my nose." The singer warned.
"Al..right.?"
You moved a bit more slower while cleaning Freddy's snout, partially because your wrist was now sore from cleaning an eight foot animatronic, but also because he told you to be careful of his nose. That you did not understand until it was time to clean it.
