Impatient

On 13th February:

"Uh..Aarav tomorrow is 14th right. Don't your school celebrate parents day that day. Aren't they doing that this time?" Taehyung asked suddenly in the middle of their dinner as he remembered tomorrow's date.

"They are." Aarav whispered silently.

"Then why didn't you remind me? I also forgot. I have to do preparations for tomorrow then." Taehyung said getting worried for tomorrow now.

It's a tradition in Aarav's school to celebrate Valentine's day as Parents day and having fun with families with couples and children together.

"I don't wanna go tomorrow."

Taehyung raised a brow when Aarav said that, "What do you mean, you love this day."

"I used to love it. But not this time. Everyone have two parents with them while I only have you. I don't want just you to be there."

Taehyung blinked, "What? Everyone come as couples because they have partners. I don't. And you never objected it, where this is coming from suddenly?"

"But you have partner this time, right?" Aarav asked hopefully.

Taehyung could only look at him lost. He couldn't understand what the kid is trying to do.

"Uncle Jinnie." Aarav made himself clear when Taehyung didn't spoke.

"What? Baby seriously what? Why do you think like that? He is just a friend of both of us. Isn't he?"

"No!" Aarav stood up angrily this time and stomped his feet, "He loves you, you know he do but you just don't do anything about it. You always make him sad. For days he is trying. Why don't you just ask him to join us tomorrow? Uncle Jinnie will understand and he will be so happy."

Taehyung's face went rigid hearing him, "Don't worry about those things. That doesn't concern you. Sometimes acting your age is nice." he scolded.

Aarav's lips quiver, "My age? Then I won't go tomorrow if you didn't ask him to come with us and I won't eat too."

"We will go."

"No."

"Aarav. Don't be stubborn."

"But that's what my age kids do." Aarav whined.

"That's not what I meant. Just stop this. I thought we were good alone. Just stop."

"I am not good. I don't want to be alone. I want him here with us. He and I both are waiting for you to get this but you just don't. Why don't you?"

"That's not how you should talk to me."

Aarav cried frustrated realizing Taehyung is just dodging the topic.

"Why don't you answer me?" he asked crying.

"I don't have to. I am your appa. You are not mine. So let me do what I am doing. That's what good for you." Taehyung said this time softly, his heart breaking seeing Aarav cry.

How did he didn't noticed that Aarav is having these thoughts inside him? He thought he just love Jin but he didn't know he loves him enough to make him the part of their family.

He should have kept Seokjin away from them.

He would have if he had any idea about this.

"I hate you."

Taehyung looked up shocked when Aarav said that.

"What did you say?"

"I hate you for this. You say you want to see me happy but you don't do what I ask. I don't wanna talk to you." saying that Aarav left from there, running.
