Beep.. Beep.. Beep..
A beeping sound of machine can be heard. Doctor was checking the patient while someone stood there worried. The patient was given saline water and injection. Doctor turned and sighed.
"He has fainted due to the excess stress and shock. Seems like he is too much disturbed. His blood pressure also dropped down. I have given him sedatives. He should have a good sleep to rest his mind. He will be up after 3 to 4 hours." Said the doctor.
"Nothing to worry, right? Manik is fine na? Nothing major?"
"No, Mr. Dhawan. He's absolutely fine. Just need some rest. But keep a check on him. Don't let him stress." Said doctor on which Cabir nodded. Doctor left. Cabir sat beside Manik on the chair and held his head. Silent tears flew down his eyes. Everything was messed up in just few hours.
Cabir along with some of police were waiting for Manik outside while others took Harshad away. But when he didn't come out taking Nandini, they got tensed and rushed in. They were shocked to see Manik fainted on floor while holding Nandini near to his heart. They immediately rushed both of them to the hospital. Nandini was taken towards the operation theater immediately while Manik was being checked by the doctor. Nandini lost so much blood and doctors feared for the worst. They assured Cabir to try their best.
Cabir stood up from his place and went out. Moving near operation theatre he stood there praying for Nandini.
"Please be safe, bhabhi. Manik needs you. He won't be able to bear your loss. We will loose him forever. Please fight for him. For your love. Like you always did. You're strong, bhabhi! You defeated that jerkshad. You can defeat this injury too. Just please be fine. Please." Thought Cabir looking towards the operation theater. He could see the rush in between. Nurses are constantly running out and in. He tried to ask once but the reply wasn't something pleasant.
"How..how is she? Is everything okay?"
"We can't say anything right now. Blood loss is severe. We are arranging the blood. Condition is very critical. Please excuse." Saying this nurse ran inside. Cabir ran his hand though hairs. What's happening in their life?
