"n/n!" the bard pouted as he tried to
turn your attention to him by clinging
on you, kissing your cheeks or tried
to make you face him but you
won't budge and continuing doing
the paperworks that jean gave you

"n/n come on! please! you've been busy for a week now and we haven't cuddle for awhile!" the bard shouted as he
tightened his grip on you, him sitting
on your lap while you doing some paperwork on a wooden table his hat
on top of it as you keep writing on some
paperwork, after finishing it you reach
for another paper

but a certain bard stops you, he grabs your hand that was about to reach for another paper, then putted your hand on his cheek "n/n!~" finally you turned your attention to him as he cheered internally
you sighed as you drop the pen on your left hand onto the table "what do you want venti?" he pouted "you know what I want!" he shouted again as he gave you puppy eyes, for a second there you thought you saw some cat ears on his head flopping down like a sad animal

you sighed again "look venti-" suddenly
a knock was heard oustide the door of your office as you take away your hand from his cheek

"come in."

"ah, y/n-"

"oh~ what's this?"

you sighed AgAIn before glaring at the dark blue haired male who has a smirk on his face, "shut your ass kaeya, now
what do you want? as you can see
I'm busy doing something here."

"busy in doing what hmm?" kaeya teased
making you glares more dagger to him

"whoa! ok I'm just here to give you
some paperworks that jean wanted
me to give you" kaeya said as he putted
his hands up then pulled out some paperworks out of nowhere and handed it to you.

he then soon got out of the room and closed the door not before shouting "DON'T BE SO LOUD! AND REMEMBER TO USE PROTECTION!"

venti's face flushed red as he buried his face in the crook of your neck, you had tiny blushes on your cheek as you feel your heart beat becoming fast while muttering curses at Elsa 2.0

you cleared your throat before speaking
"venti, I need to do more paperworks so I'll give you attention later ok?"

"no!! n/n!! I want it noww!" you sighed like again before reaching out for the paperworks but suddenly a gush of wind suddenly blows it away as venti's teal braid glowed, widening your eyes you did not realized venti carried you in bridal style out of your office after

after recovering from the shock, you then realized that you and venti are on the roof him jumping to roof to roof and to you guys shared home

"Venti-"

"Shh! I had enough of you not giving me attention so I had no choice but to just kidnap you" Venti pouted while nearing you guys shared home before dropping infront of the door

opening the door then closing it
Venti gently dropped you to the bed before jumping in your arms and wrapped around his arms around you making you sigh and smiled at him warmly

the stress slowly catched up to you as
you begin to relax you didn't even realized
you really needed a break after drowning
in paper works for weeks

Venti smiled as he saw your tense expression turned into a relaxed one

You looked back at Venti who continued to
relax in your warmth and you finally noticed the dark bags under his eyes

Your eyes widened about the fact that you forgot he still gets nightmares about his friend..

And when you are by his side while sleeping they are always away

You soon realized that's why he's so persistent to take you home

He was probably concerned about you and about his nightmares

You sighed at your forgetfulness

Maybe you really need a break from paperworks

You then decided to let him sleep at your office at night to let him have more comfortable night once again

And made sure to not forget about it

You hugged back Venti who was slowly falling asleep in your warmth making you smile at him warmly your eyes slightly showing guilt and sadness you then kissed his forehead

As Venti slowly fall asleep he then heard a whisper in his ears before he went into a deep and comfy slumber away from his nightmares after finally in his lover's arms

"I'm sorry, love. i forgot about your nightmares. next time sleep at my office at night so you can sleep comfortably."
