Once there was a purple mitten... he lived in Red Mitten Land and did not fit in at all. He had friends and aloving family but he still felt different. One day as he and his family were eating dinner his mom looked at him and said "We have to tell you something." He wondered what his parents could possibly want to tell him. "You were adopted when you were a baby. You are actually from Purple Mitten Land." He should have felt sad or hurt that his parents had waited so long to tell him. But all he felt was joy. He finally knew why he didn't fit in with all the red mittens. The next day, he decided to travel to purple mitten land. And so his journey began...
As he was walking along he ran into a pack of hungry, rabid wolves. He tried to outrun them but they were much too fast. They tore at him with there teeth and claws then left him lying ripped up in the mud. A friendly old lady was walking by when she noticed the purple mitten lying in the mud. She felt sorry for him. She picked him up and carried him back to her small cottage. After he was all stiched up and good as new the purple miten knew it was time to go. He said goodbye to the old lady and he went on his way.
Later when he as walking along a narrow pathway on the side of a mountain, he heard a loud rumble. It sounded to him as if the mountain was hungry and its tummy was grumbling. He quickly realised that the mountain was crumbling around him! The pathway fell away from under him and he fell to the ground.
When he got up he just brushed himself off and kept going. He walked through acres of candy cane forest and over rainbow bridges made out of skittles. He was about to give up when he saw Purple Mitten Land in the distance. He quickly coveed the rest of the distance and walked the streets of his homeland.
He searched for days for his family. Until finally he found them. After that everything went well. He met new friends and he grew up. He met a firl Purple Mitten and they fell in love. The Lived happily ever after... Or did they?
