Shadow POV.
'I don't trust that teacher'
I thought to myself as drove. The sun was setting and there was no one on the streets. Some of the students were asleep and others were talking. Sonic was looking out the window while she held her broom stick close. I could tell that she was tired but didn't want to fall asleep. My eyes started getting heavy as I drove and I was struggling to stay awake. The school's nurse, Vanilla, came up to me with a smile. "You look exhausted dear, I can drive while you rest" She said. I pulled over so we could switch seats and I sat down next to sonic. "Finally got tired of driving?" She asked playfully. I smiled and ruffled up her fur. "For now, my eyes got tired"I said. She chuckled and looked out the window. Her smile was replaced by a frown and I got concerned. For some reason I don't like it when she frowns. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm just worried about my parents and my sister and brother They were at home when I went to school because my sister was sick and my brother was going to help my mother" Sonic said. I put a hand on her shoulder and she looked at me. "They're fine, I know it" I said.
