yeah this one is kinda complicated smh and i have 2 aus for this.

in this, ri taesan and cho yerin were childhood bsfs, but one day, after the death of taesan's father and the sudden disappearing of his mother, him and his sister weren't able to be found either.

yerin is deeply saddened by the news and blah blah i dont even wanna get into writer mode anymore ill spoil too much shit

now to teens yerin and lim soohyeok. soohyeok and yerin were kinda like in contact because of some spy shit during their teenage or early 20's and both had developed a little crush for each other.

soohyeok didn't reveal his identity to yerin because of shit from his foster dad but secretly admired her. yerin found the comfort she felt with taesan again with soohyeok.

now in present day, eun youngro and im sooho, both agents from the north working on different missions are to work together alongside their trusted comrades to get out of the fucked up hostage situation at hosu.

found some plot holes? this ain't even the prologue smh i can't spoil everything now ;-;
