We decided to split up the luggage and carrying based on dorms. Of course each helped their roomie bring their furniture, but Armin and I decided to team up. We first decide on my room, beginning to slowly pull each piece of furniture out the back of the truck. Armin and I aren't exactly the strongest, so we struggle, but after a while we get the hang of it. My apartment is on the highest floor of the B building, right at the top middle.
Luckily, there was a luggage elevator that came to our rescue. Otherwise we would've passed out carrying it up the steps. First we brought in my bed frame, followed by my mattress. However, when I first pushed open my apartment, it was completely empty. Not a piece of anything in sight. My roommate must not be here yet. So, Armin and I decided to leave the furniture out, and when I met with my roomie, we could pick rooms and then I'd move it from then on. Next was my desk, followed by my bookshelf. The process of holding it left scratches and pain all over my hands. But I had to push through. After all, Armin has hundreds of books. Carrying his bookshelves is gonna be so much worse than my furniture.
After we finished with all my bags of clothing, books, and basically everything you could imagine, we moved onto Armin's furniture. His building was the same, with the most convenient elevator ever. We went through his easily, but instead of leaving the furniture astray, we began to decorate and put it away.
"If you want to go to your apartment you can leave!! I can decorate on my own!" He flutters, as I begin to put his books on his shelf. I smile, shaking my head.
"No need. I like to spend time with you, so I don't mind." I smile, placing the books gently on his shelf. He beams brightly and then continues to work. He organizes his desk, while I organize his bookshelf. I go through dozens of books on the sea, seashells, and about anything referring to a large body of water. Armin is a mega nerd, but I can't judge. It's nice. Hearing his bewildered explanations on how salty the water is. It's adorable. I place the final book on the shelf, finishing it off magically. I turn around and notice Armin has finished tucking in his bed sheets. I smile, taking a deep breath.
"Well, I think this is my cue to head out. Wish me luck on my mystery roomie." I gently wrap my arms around his shoulders, practically melting onto his back. He giggles, and then turns around, hugging me gently.
"Thank you for your help, Y/N." He smiles at me.
"No worries, nerd. We're still meeting up later tonight, right?" I ask as I begin to leave his room. He follows me out into his hallway.
"Yup!! At 6:00 sharp!" He smiles. I turn around as I reach the door.
"Great, I'll see you then. Bye, Armin. Love you." I say, waving as I open the door and step outside.
"Bye bye! Love you too!" He gushes. I close the door, and head downstairs. Armin has been my best friend for a while. He was one of the people who stuck by my side the most, through everything and anything. I'm glad we were able to spend our Uni experience together. It's much better with him by my side. As I think about our good memories, I find myself climbing the stairs up to my dreadful apartment. My stomach churns, as I reach the 4th floor. I walk up to my room, gently placing my hand on the knob. I reach in my pocket for the key, but realize it's open. So they're here. I sharply inhale, preparing myself to meet my new roomie for the rest of the semester. I push the door open, gently wincing as I enter, but as I squint my eyes open, I notice nothing. Not even... My furniture..? Instead of my desks and messed up bed, there's a long gray couch, lying in front of a fake fireplace with a TV on top of it. There's a square coffee table in the middle of both. I check the door number, and sure enough, it's my room. I feel a pang in my stomach, feeling bad they had to move my furniture. I hope they aren't pissed at me for that. However, there's no sign of them anywhere. I swallow, and walk to the first bedroom. I open the door and gently peek inside. It's a dark room, with a dark sheeted bed in the far corner. It has a nice pair of pillows on it, alongside a very fluffy looking blanket. Next to the bed is a small side desk, completely clean. Next to that is a work desk, however, it has a very large gaming set-up on it. A line of higher end shoes covers the bottom of the ground. Great. A dude... A dark hoodie hangs on the door knob of the closet, gently hitting the ground. I've decided I've seen enough, and gently close the door. I begin to walk farther down the hallway, until I abruptly run into something. Or... Someone... I feel my breath halt as the scent of sweet cologne hits my nose. Wow... Much better smelling than I was expecting. I swallow hard, pulling back and looking before me. I stare up and meet a stern stare down at me. Forest green eyes pierce me, staring deeply at my face and my expressions. Dark brown hair falls over his eyes, forming his features perfectly. It's pulled back behind his face, but I can't exactly tell what it's pulled into. My heart begins to pulse rapidly. Fuckkk he's hot.
"You're quite nosey." He says, staring down at me. I sharply inhale, feeling my throat become dry,
"I-i'm sorry, I didn't know that was your room!" I manage to blurt out.
"Didn't know where to put your furniture either?" He asks, raising one of his eyebrows, gently lowering his face closer to mine. I feel my heart stop as he's dangerously close to me. I can practically feel his breath hit my cheek. His breath smells like sweet mint, and the scent makes my mouth salivate. He smirks, backing up from my face. "I was just messing with you. I had my old man move your furniture. I assumed you let me choose which room I wanted, since you decided to so graciously make a mess." He stuffs his hands into his hoodie pockets. His hoodie says "rumbling". I wonder what that could mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). He wears gray sweatpants as well. He's got quite the casual style, but for some reason it's so enticing. He walks past me, gently brushing against my shoulder. He causes a gentle breeze to push through my hair as he walks to his room. He opens his door and walks inside, peeking his head out the door before he leaves. "It's nice to meet you, roomie~." He coos, before closing the door right on my face. I blink rapidly, trying to make sense of what just happened. W-what..? Why does his presence feel so comforting..? I just met this guy... Whatever the case, I'm stuck with him, so I'll find out one way or another.

A/N:
Hey everyone :)
We finally get to see Eren Jeager in action, how do we feel? It's gonna hopefully get a lot better from here on.
The next chapter is gonna be pretty short as a heads up, but don't you worry your little head, it's like that for good reason.
Also!!! Y/N and Armin's relationship is completely platonic!! They're aimed to be best friends in this story, not lovers.
