Her eyes met with mine, but there was nothing there.
No worries, no cares, no ambition, no love.
She was a hollow shell of a woman.
Looking at her made me realize, I don't know her anymore.
The grief rose in my chest as a sigh left my lips.
Then I turned and on my way out, turned off the bathroom light.
