My name is Emma. I have had a friend since... I can remember. My imaginary friend my father thinks, but I know he's real. My mother died when I was young at the hand of the Dlaeks. It was the most depressing moment of my life. I thought that I would never see the man that saved the world and the ret of y family ever again, for he had better people to see and things to do. I wasn't even remotely important. Two days after my mums funeral was my birthday. And that's where it all started. He came to me and took me away. He gave me the best birthday and life I could hope for. I kept thinking he took pity on me for my mums death but I came to realize that he saw something in me, something special. I never figured out what exactly that was. Sometimes I would catch him starting at me like I was some sort of mystery to him. When ever I caught him doing it I would just say,
"Take a picture it'll last longer." And then he would chuckle and try to his his blush.Every year he would come on my birthday and take me for a trip, and before he left he would give me the bet birthday present. Every present topping last years. I grew to love him as a friend. For he was my friend, my life long friend.
I was waiting in my room for the Doctor. It was my twenty first birthday and he promised something special.
-Doctor-
I flew my Tardis to Emma's house. A grin creeped up on my face as I saw her sitting on her bed waiting excitedly for her birthday trip. What she didn't know was that I wanted to keep her more than one trip. She walked in with blue jeans, tennis shoes, and a T-Shirt that said AC-DC on it. She smiled as she put her hair into a pony tail and asked,
"So, where are we going today. Or should I say when?"
"First I want to give you your birthday present." I smiled. She grinned and walked over to the couch. She plopped herself on it as she's moved her leg in excitement. I sat beside her and dug through my pocket to find the tiny box. Once I found it I held it out to her where she gasped at the beautifully rapped Tardis blue box.
"Emma, every birthday since you were young I have came and taken you on trips. For me it has been a matter of days, but for you it has been a matter of years. I love to see our face light up in interest every time we go. So this is my present to you." I opened the box to revel a key chained on a gold chain. It was engraved with the words, happy birthday Emma! , on it.
"Travel with me."
Her eyes filled with tears as she flung herself at me and give me a hug.
"So is that yes?" I asked though I already knew the answer."Yes, sorry yes! Of course I will come with you!" She smiled wiping he eyes.
"Wait I have to pack!" She exclaimed.
"Uh..Emma...don't you want to say good bye to your dad." Her whole body stiffened. She quickly whipped around with the fake at smile and said,
"No, he's in Spain. I'll just text him that I got into a collage in Florida and I had to leave the day before he came."
I could tell that she was lying because there was a loud bang from down stairs.
"Cats!" She quickly said and ran out to pack, I knew that she didn't have cats but I left it at that. I didn't want to drive her away like all the rest.About a hour later I helped Emma in with a ton of suit cases.
"Do you really need all this stuff. You even have a box just full of fur coats." I said looking at the wall of suitcases we managed to bring in.
"Yes. Cold wether, hot weather. Plant of the coats, I'm ready. Show me the stars Doctor.""Okay!" I said happily dancing around the console.
"Where to first? Plant of the Zygons, lovely plant but a little... Hot. We can go to the biggest amusement park in the universe, or Mars, Saturn. Or a sun that you can literally stand on. Or New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New York, on New New Earth." I laughed. She smiled and said,
"Take it away Space Boy."
